A lovely old house with generous rooms & lovely views over countryside & horses. It has ample parking.
The rooms are in keeping with the age of the house & some may criticise not everything is brand new such as carpets etc.
However for the price, & the charm of the house I wud say this is a good place to stay if ur looking for something of decent value. It's not going to compare to the standard of 4* hotel but we enjoyed our stay & I wud recommend it to friends & I wud stay there again myself.
Maybe not as spotlessly clean as I wud like in the bathroom but definitely had been cleaned.
Quaint, pretty guesthouse.

Stayed here for one night and had an excellent stay. Bed extremely comfy, quiet area, lovely views of the horses onsite! Rooms are quaint, traditional and basic. Could do with shower gel in the bathroom and perhaps a new kettle in the rooms. Room was also quite warm as the radiators would not seem to switch off and the day was quite warm. Really close to Ashbourne which has some lovely shops and restaurants. Only 20 minutes from Dublin City and 30 minutes from Dundrum. Breakfast was basic but up to a good standard. Would definitely stay again.
A little piece of heaven

With so many unkind reviews we want to share our experiences of Broadmeadow.
For several years now we have stayed overnight here four times a year on our return home from abroad. The place might at times be tired (like everywhere) but it is most definitely clean as I am obsessive about cleanliness!! The staff are lovely and approachable, the beds are comfortable and the breakfast is your choice and really good. An Irish breakfast is what it is people and I don't know where yogurt fits in with this but I do know whatever you ask for you will get!
The price is fair and includes transport to the airport, taxi pick up on your return (you might be very lucky and have Tony collect you in his PJ's!!), bed, breakfast and free car parking!! What are you all expecting?? We will certainly continue to stay here and would be very disappointed if we had to move!
Well done Sandra, Paul, Fran, Tony & everyone else see you you for breakfast on Sunday 15th January 2017.
Awful

The only reason this is a 4 star is that it has a beauty room. Nothing else matches 4* quality. Room number 1 was tired and dated and needed work. The shower screen was broke and the bathroom smelt like urine. The breakfast is apparently award winning and there is nothing 'full' about the full Irish breakfast. The only plus side was the location that it was close to where we needed to be. I'm not the sort of person to look at reviews I like to give places the benefit of the doubt but after staying here I will now be looking at reviews.
