What People are saying

A great caravan park

Michael S on 18/11/2017 05:54

A comfortable park offering a good range of options including the motel across the road. Well placed for Broken Hills's attractions. Amenities well kept, and powered sites had fresh wood chips dressing (lovely smell!)

A nice place to stay

This is a well run park. The staff are friendly and informative. Facilities are clean and the wood chips on site keep the dust down. A clean pool and two camp kitchens. An excellent base for exploring the Broken Hill area. It is on the highway but we found it quiet

Booked in for three nights with our van, $127 for an ensuite site, lovely clean area, plenty of room , friendly staff.
Although we didn't use the Bbq, or pool, there always seemed to be people using them. Dogs on leads are allowed and I must say we never heard any of the ones near us, all well behaved. The road out the front is very busy ,we were in one of the inside rows and if outside we could here them,I would think anybody on the roadside row would find it a bit noisy. We'd defiantly book again.

Stay Somewhere Else - Anywhere Else

As we were going to be in Broken Hill for a few days I booked a self contained cabin for myself and my husband. What I got was a self contained shoe box. If you want to swing a cat - go outside. As we were self catering we brought a few basic groceries with us - breakfast cereal, bread etc. There are no cupboards but there is a full size fridge. When I travel and I plan to stay somewhere for a few days I like to unpack at least a few things - there were no cupboards. There is a small table with 2 chairs but if you want to watch TV you have to sit on the bed. There is no shelf in the shower recess, there is no soap dish in the shower recess. I hate having to pick up my soap and shampoo up off the floor so I bought a cheap shower caddy from the Reject Shop and left it there for the travellers that come after me. I hope it was left there. While I am in the bathroom - if you want a decent hot shower - go somewhere else. The water was not very hot and the water pressure non existent and there is no Wi-Fi - which is no biggie as internet in Broken Hill is a hit and miss affair. On the plus side - the bed was great

Average but best in town.

Park itself is ok. The caravan sites are large and have tan bark covering which is good due to dust and dirt. The play park is pretty sad but the overall park is quite dull to look at. Hopefully changes by our next visit. Office was very drab and staff just ok, not overly friendly.
