Room was small but lovely, very clean, bed was comfy, bathroom was immaculate, had all the mod-cons you'd expect - home from home
Breakfast was really nice, branded cereals, fresh juice and tasty full English

Spent 2 nights at Brookhouse in a very pleasant room with a comfy king sized bed. Great shower and little extras like Nexpresso machine and fluffy towels much appreciated after climbing Ingleborough in a howling gale! Lots of walks out from Clapham which is very pretty and, with planning, a good base for Yorkshire 3 Peak Challenge. Excellent breakfast but would recommend speaking directly to Alan well in advance to check if he is able to provide dinner.

Brookhouse it a cracking b&b in a fantastic village, the decor might need a bit of refreshing here and there but what you pay its great value.The one thing that this b&b has over grander and a lot more expensive establishments is firstly the best breakfast in yorkshire, and if your lucky enough to be staying when alan cooks in the evening your in for a treat. Me and my wife have eaten in 1 & 2 star michelin restaurants and our meal last week was as good.

We stayed at the Brookhouse for a couple of nights last week, while travelling around the Dales on holiday. It's easy to see how this lovely old house got its name, situated at the side of Clapham Beck in the centre of this old village - a beautiful spot.
The owner Alan was most welcoming and helpful, suggesting walks in the locality to make the most of our stay. A personal touch was that he remembered our likes and dislikes for breakfast on the 2nd day, even though the b&b was busy. Breakfast was excellent.
Our room was very cosy and well-equipped - probably the most comfortable bed I've slept in away from home. Broadband reception was good; I was able to use my laptop without any problems. Parking is on the roadside outside Brookhouse, but as it's a quiet road this didn't present any difficulty.
We really enjoyed our stay at Brookhouse and will most certainly be back.

Comfortable stay, slept well, good breakfast. Look it's not pristinely immaculate... almost is 😉... It's a good value and good grub B&B, but if like me a 6ft fella, do remember to duck in some doorways. I almost did an impression of a tortoise! Kinda funny really, added to the charm. Thank you!
Ps.. The mushrooms were great.. ART!
