Oneonta Graduation
Scott Kon 18/05/2017 17:54This place is the perfect B&B located just a few short miles from oneonta. We stayed there the first time when our son started his college journey. 4 years later and with new owners we stayed there to finish his journey. We love this place! The new owners are great and really take great pride in being unbelievable hosts. Free range chickens provide fresh eggs for breakfast. I would highly recommend Brookside Inn!!!
Oneonta Graduation
Lenore Don 17/05/2017 03:46Bed and breakfast was charming, old character with new owners, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Sage room had canopy bed, romantic and cozy. Towels and soap offered, shared bathroom with my parents in neighboring lavender room. Loved our time and took lots of pictures at the Inn since it rained for my son's graduation (really appreciated the beautiful fireplace in dining room for that!) it's our third time staying at the Inn and I highly recommend it for any age and any size group!
Cozy Bed and Breakfast
raquel1021on 26/09/2016 05:27My husband and I stayed in this place overnight for our son's Family weekend at SUNY ONEONTA. The place is clean and the "old world charm" of this beautiful 200 year old house has been wonderfully restored by Lori and Dave, owners. They put in a great deal of effort in restoring this magnificent place as well as in making our stay comfortable like being in our own home. Breakfast was included and they were generous with everything...from goodies to clean towels in the room. I highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again for our next family event at the college.
Best place to stay around Cooperstown !
snoops13on 24/09/2016 06:53Going to Cooperstown? This is the place to stay.
All Star village and downtown Oneonta are only a 5 minute drive. I thought about staying at a hotel but I am so happy we stayed here. It was like you're staying at a friend's house with a great breakfast - (strawberry pancakes, eggs, bacon) every morning.
Lori, Dave and Bugsy the doggie just make you feel at home. The good thing about staying at a house is you have room to walk around and get a coffee, tea or dessert and relax downstairs.
It would be fun to have a few families stay here while the boys are playing at Cooperstown. So I really recommend staying at Brookside Inn !
Warm & Friendly B&B in a 200 year old home
Gary Non 22/09/2016 22:30We had a great time at this great B&B. The owners, Lori and Dave, were very friendly and accommodating, and the B&B had everything that you could ask for. Dave has done a tremendous amount of work restoring a 200 year old home to provide modern conveniences and comfort, without losing old world charm. The rooms were very comfortable and we were made to feel right at home. The sitting area opens up into a terrific commercial kitchen that also was as inviting as it was functional. Also, you will not go hungry! There was homemade breads and pastries available all day, as well as numerous salty and sweet snacks. The breakfast was delicious and made to order. Being from Texas, it was nice to share an evening and morning with some friendly New Englanders. If you are planning a trip to Cooperstown, this is a convenient and quiet place to stay.
