Stayed here for work so I’m not footing the bill. So this is more an FYI
Room was quite comfortable but lacking amenities for someone staying and working over a longer period ie. no fridge, no microwave; can’t eat room service everyday. Staff was super friendly except for check in at 1:30am when they would have rather put me on the street then give me the room with no ID (my fault I accept that).
The Brookstreet is a well established higher end facility and does live up to its reputation most the time. For a company as charitable as it is I find their billing suspect. I understand the “Destination Marketing Fee” a 3% grab the hotel doesn’t keep, however they charge tax on the DMF as well. When your paying these room rates I guess it’s not much more but still a little back handed. I would prefer they offer a room with a flat rate and include all these charges it might help ease the bill shock of an already expensive stay.

We stayed a single night at Brookstreet to celebrate our wedding anniversary, There was no waiting at all during our check-in as well, We booked the hotel with ROMANTIC COUPLES package. which includes a three-course dinner as well a brunch. Reception Tara made sure we got what we booked for. Tara also Sent us complimentary chocolates and sparkling water. we appreciate her service.I shall Thank you Brookstreet Hotel for your wonderful service

keeps me coming back. visit Ottawa often to catch Sens games and everytime we stay here and always love our stay. Have never had a bad experience, friendly staff and love the rooms. A nice bonus it the discount on the nights when their is a game and no need to drive downtown.

I was visiting Ottawa and had meetings on the same estate as his hotel. From check in, the jazz bar, dinner and breakfast, this hotel ticks all the boxes.
The staff throughout the hotel are fantastic and so helpful. We had breakfast and dinner here and the food was fantastic.
The rooms are perfectly appointed and this is one of the better hotels I stayed in during my three week business visit to the US and Canada.
Would not stay anywhere else when visiting this location. Fantastic hotel and staff and thanks for making our stay enjoyable.

I had the most amazing massage from Megan K... I would definitely recommend her and this spa. All the staff is friendly and management is very helpful. Thank you for a great spa experience! I will definitely be coming back.
