Great staff, great breakfast, great room, excellent location for most of the sights.
With in walking distance of the river and hundreds of bars and restaurants.
Will definatly go again to Lisbon and would use this hotel again.

This nice and apart hotel, impressed due to his central position and nice ambiente.
A great breakfast and well made drinks (except of breakfast no further food tried).
Service was friendly and try hard.
The room (209) was a little bit small with limited room for wardrobe (two persons four night stay.
Overall the price per night was reasonable.
Buttonline: Closer to GOOD than to BAD.

My wife and I visited Portugal for the first time and booked into this excellent boutique hotel downtown. It is extremely convenient and we have easy access to the old town and the main tourist attractions as well as walking distance from the luxurious retail stores and Hard Rock Cafe which serves as the gathering points for our Sintra City tours. The staff were simply excellent, in particular the young receptionists and they also provide us invaluable advice and serve as concierge during our stay. The rooms were modern and spacious. The buffet breakfast was excellent and good value for money. We had plenty of fresh fruits and dairy produce. There are also plenty of eating places nearby from traditional Portuguese small restaurant to high end restaurants.

I stayed two nights in the hotel. The hotel rooms appeared to be recently renovated. The room in which we stayed had no views at all. But the room was spacious and well lit. It had espresso machine and electric kettle. Rooms were air-conditioned. There were yellow stain marks on the bathroom floor. The access to the room was through usual room key and not swipe cards. Hotel staff is friendly and courteous. They walked out of the hotel with us to direct us to different shops and restaurants. The internet is free and fast. Buffet breakfast was fresh and delicious. The hotel is hardly 50 metres from the Baxia-Chadio train station. Highly recommended.

We stayed for four nights this month (Oct 2017). On arrival we were greeted at reception, and assured that the staff were at our disposal, very friendly. We had a very nice room on the top floor. The rooms are not large, but this is an old style building, in an unrivalled, central location. Also we were given a discount card for the hotel bar. Every member of staff was very helpful, and made us feel welcome, and a valued client, without being overly gushing or intrusive. At the checkout it became apparent that we would be missing out on one of the breakfasts we had paid for (due to an early departure). without asking, we were instantly offered a "breakfast box" to go. All in all a great experience, and a great place to base yourself for a Lisbon city break. The breakfast room is quirky (mix and match furniture) but comfortable. It's buffet style, not table service. But it is what we like and the food was good.
