Recently returned from a couple of weeks in NZ. Stayed here after flying from Australia. Only about 30 mins from airport. Lovely. Friendly helpful manager, small not fancy but spotless rooms and comfy bed. Great shower. Convenience store nearby. Beach (without waves) out front. Lovely area for a walk.

we stayed here last Saturday night and what a lovely quiet motel this is,right on the water front .
We had a studio unit at the back and it was recently done up. lovely comfortable king size bed, large TV and a beautiful shower.
The nicest thing was the quality of the lovely soft towels they gave us.
Will defiantly use this place again

Booked this well kept little motel for a last night in Auckland and was delighted by the views of the harbor - the motel is right across the street fro the beach and has great view so the city and bays. The motel itself is well maintained and the owners do a nice job showing you around the facilities. Rooms are very clean with great facilities (incl. pool).

Roger and Margy made me feel so very welcome. They helped me to change my booking at the last minute (for a family emergency ). I was welcomed with a hug and farewelled with a hug, simply beautiful people.
The chalet was gorgeous. So clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable, the chalet h ad everything you need for your stay and a beautiful view of the water (a mere 30 metres from the beach )
The room servicing each day was impeccable.
Parking was excellent.
Local restaurants and take away bars within walking distance.
Honestly, not a single thing i could fault.

Very unusual apartment style motel accommodation.
Whoever built the stand alone building we stayed in must've been a wood-working craftsman. Quite unique design with a bedroom in a mezzanine floor within a Swiss chalet style roof.
Everything there you need for a fairly-priced stay including free wi-fi and multi channel satellite t.v. even a smal plunge pool for those contemplating a summer recess.
Good value. Good standards.
