Unfortunately I had to book this place as a last resort. Let me start off with this place has the dirtiest rooms ever! I was disgusted the moment I walked in. Bathrooms had mold, carpets were filthy, walls were cracked, the rooms reeked like cigar and sheets had stains. The smell was so terrible my poor child kept asking what that nasty smell was. The rooms had no smoke detectors. I was disgusted to have my children sleep at this Motel 6. The moment I arrived I was ready to load the car and drive back home but due to my husband’s lack of sleep we decided to stay. Looks like the place hasn’t been cleaned in ages. Thankfully I had sheets in my car and covered their filthy beds with my sheets. My family and I left with the smell of cigar penetrated in our brains!! This place completely horrified me!!! To the manger please forget about even remodeling this place, you should start off with cleaning this place. A bucket of water and soap can go along way.

I CANNOT believe that they even rent this out to people on vacation. This is obviously a low income, filthy hangout and a place for low lives from the surrounding area to live. People were walking all over the inside and outside of the place all night. They left their doors open like it was there bedroom while they did whatever they needed to do. The place reeked of weed, food and cigarettes.
I seriously am appalled that they allowed my young children to experience this. At check in, I made a joke saying it looked like the Shining and the girl said she thought it was haunted!!! Really???!!! A few times when we went out of the room she was there hanging out with a couple guys. Just a really disgusting and awkward situation!!!!!
I spoke to the guy as I left and told him they should advertise for what it is, a welfare motel. He didn't seem concerned. He said he would speak to the manager. Yeah right!!!!! And don't dare say it's because of renovations like on previous reviews. That's a JOKE!!! Just don't rent it out to families. Bottom line. No one wants to sleep in a bed with cigarette burned sheets. Only thing better would to give me my money back and pretend I've never seen the place!!!!!!!

I stayed in this places because is the closest to my dad house and since i was just planning to stay here just to sleep a couple nights so that's why i choose this places..
My experience... first room that they gave me ,bed sheets was dirty , towels was dirty the person that did the room fold the dirty towels as clean when i open one was wet , I complain and they gave me another room witch it was worst ,black stuff in the shower, AC when I turned on its was smelling like dusty, dirty (disgusting) I went downstairs again I ask for a refund , they refused ,they said they will give me a better room, that bed was dress with just one sheet , AC not working good enough, once again I ask for a refund they told me that they can only give me 50% . I stayed 2 nights and no body came to clean the room ..
I'll try to save some money and it was the worst thing i lost 50% of my money and im going to another hotel ..

Honestly, I'm kinda over TripAdvisor. Understand that this site censors negative content and allows hotels to form their PR responses to poor reviews before guest reviews are posted. (That lag is not just to check reviews re: naughty language.) Need to find a new site to post my reviews (although most of them are becoming the same way...idea for a startup, anyone?)
I stayed at this hotel x 1 night, which was really more than enough. Upon entering, there was an African America couple in the lobby who were on the phone with one of the web travel sites b/c there was a problem with their booking. From what I could gather from my experience, it looks like this place is going from Rodeway Inn to Motel 6. It was a technically a Motel 6 when I stayed here. They are using their check-in system. I wish I could find the couple now and tell them that they missed absolutely nothing and were perhaps better off wherever they ended up, even if it meant their car.
You can tell that this hotel has progressively fallen through the hotel chain brands. It is like they kept the most upscale hotel decor from yesteryear but did zero upkeep and everything is now chipped, broken, or mixed with bargain basement stuff.
Aside from the couple, there were lots of shady characters in the lobby upon check-in. On my way to my second floor room, I passed what looked like a pretty nice exercise room (which Motel 6 will nix - never been in one before that has one).
When I got to my room, I noticed the beds had been made but it otherwise appeared that the room had not been cleaned between guests. I booked a nonsmoking room with a single bed. The room I was given had double beds. The mattress on one of the beds had cigarette burns.
Someone else's broken jewelry was on the bathroom floor. Also, someone had pulled the smoke detector off the wall and placed it in the drawer of the nightstand with the 9-volt battery removed. (The fact that management did not address this prior to renting the room to me must be a violation.) The room reeked of some kind of smoke. The remote control for the TV was missing and there was only one bath towel.
I'm sure the hotel will say something along the lines of, "We're renovating...sorry for the inconvenience." It appears people have been posting negative reviews for quite some time. Being that this hotel is willing to rent rooms like the one I received under any circumstances, I would say this is a place to seriously avoid. There is a Ramada down the street.

This hotel is in great disrepair. It smelled horrible, carpets were wet, rooms looked like they hadn't been cleaned in ages. The pool area hasn't been maintained and is overgrown with vegetation. The only thing nice about the hotel was the TV. I will never stay there again and recommend that you avoid this hotel.
