The price of the motel should have told the story. I do admit that the room seemed clean and the bed comfortable but don't rely on a wake-up call. When I checked in I asked for a 5:00 AM wake up call and the lady at the desk said it would be done. Before retiring I suggested to my wife that I should set the alarm. It's a good thing I did as we didn't receive a wake up call. As we passed the office I shouted thanks for the wake up call. My wife spoke to the fellow on duty and he checked and said it was entered in the book. Unfortunately being entered in the book and entered in the system are 2 entirely different things. This is the first time in over 40 years that when asked we didn't get a wake up call.

I booked this room to pickup my son who was flying in very late at night. This place looks good from the outside and is close to a strip mall and eateries. The room was not very clean and you couldnt lock the door. the door wouldnt shut tight so anyone could have forced their way in. When we returned from the airport they were people outside doing who knows what. very shady. I would never go back here even for the 1 night we stayed. my advice is go accross the street to the best western where you are alot safer then staying here.

We stayed there for one night. It was close to the airport, but that is the only positiv thing about it. Hotel is dated. When we opened the door, the smell was horrible. The carpet looked dirty , I wanted to leave right away. The bathroom was okay, but please clean behind the doors too. My husband convinced me to stay the few hours until our flight go out. Could not sleep at all. They should get rid of the carpets. They are dirt and smell catcher. Sorry to be so negative. One other good point was the concierge. He booked a taxi for the morning and it was right on time and cheap. Thank you

Stayed here after reading reviews. Wanted some place not to expensive and close to airport. Decent stay. Loud air unit but I can sleep with that. Lots of noise from highway though but air system drowned it out. Very nice service at check in.

The name says it all. This motel (doors open to outside corridors) has seen better days, but for the price, it can't be beat. Our room was clean, decorated not so long ago, and well appointed. I didn't like the noisy HVAC under the window, but I actually slept very well. We found the staff uniformly helpful, responsible, and accommodating. Breakfast is not included, but a decent IHOP is next door, or you can try the diner across the street. Excellent WIFI. You can walk out onto a deck over the lake behind. I was befriended by a gorgeous pair of ducks and their numerous offspring, who followed me around wanting to be fed. When we arrived very late at night, the lobby was locked up tight, and we checked in through a security window off to the side. In the darkness, the place seemed a little creepy, as if robbers and muggers were waiting to pounce. In the light of day the next morning, the place seemed much less creepy. We might stay here again, on account of this hotel's proximity to Sanford Airport, but we would probably look for something newer and nicer.
