Our second trip to BVR. The staff is very attentive to the needs of the guests. The food is good and the fishing is great. Not a 5 star resort, but clean and all one needs for a fishing resort. If you want nightlife and a variety of restaurants stay in Cabo, but if you want great fishing at a fair price, Buena Vista is perfect.

Staff definately very friendly. Stayed in the hotel for a wedding so did not check it out online in advance. No TV's in the rooms but do have A/C which worked very well. Lunch in the restaurant good but small portions and expensive. Buffet breakfast was very poor quality. Pool area very nice and well kept. Exterior of rooms very old and badly maintained but interior was clean. No bottled water in rooms but they do leave you coffee and a coffee maker. Right on a quiet beach with relaxing views. Overall, just a simple, small town hotel.

We stayed here while passing through the Baja. The rooms are clean and and the beachfront location is great. Definitely a no frills stay but the staff was friendly and the room prices were very reasonable. Rates include a full breakfast. They have a natural hot springs spa which is cool.

Quiet peaceful location. Great fishing access. Nice hotel grounds. Fantastic food. They also cleaned and prepped our dorado and tuna for dinner! Cooked it to order just hours after we caught the fish. Staff very friendly. Not much nearby if you dont have a car but hotel arranged a taxi ride into los barriles for the one time we left the resort. Highly recommended.

The food here is amazing. Seriously. Everything I had was amazing. The nachos are like nothing you can find in the states. The people were so nice and went out of their way to accommodate us. The pool and the beach were very relaxing and the pool bar was great fun. Everything was very clean. The massage lady was top notch and did a great job. The only negative, if there is one, is the room. It is a little dated but when you are on the beach with an excellent margarita and super nachos, it doesn't really matter. The beach it also so beautiful and my husband really enjoyed the fishing. Great value.
