Just what we needed....

After 3 weeks travelling around different parts of the US and Mexico we arrived to Dublin airport shattered but had to stay overnight in Dublin before reaching our final destination.
This hotel made me appreciate the Irish hospitality. Every staff member in Buswells Hotel were so accommodating, from reception to housekeeping to management.
We stayed in a compact double which is small but it did not matter as it was so cosy and the shower was a dream.
The breakfast was superb and the service was the best I had received in the 3 weeks of dining out day and night!
Am currently looking for an excuse to travel to Dublin to book into Buswells again soon.
Great experience.

Although having visited to eat/drink in the past, this was the 1st time we have stayed at Buswell's Hotel. Eight of us (four couples) booked in for two nights.
As expected, the location, ambience, welcome etc were all top quality, with a wonderful 'Irish' feel about the hotel. Being a lovely old building, each room was slightly different, but all spacious and spotlessly clean, with plenty of the usual accessories (pillows, shampoos etc).
The restaurant was closed for works, but we ate bar meals instead, which were absolutely scrummy.
The breakfasts were a highpoint, with everything from a full Irish, cereals, breads, fruit and pastries, all served by very friendly, efficient staff.
We shall be back!

Stayed here for the marathon, what a fabulous hotel, from the entrance right throughout it was such a lovely welcoming hotel. Staff were very helpful and courteous, the hotel was immaculately clean. Everything was on hand for a short stay, I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone, my only fault was the breakfast, while everything was on offer you had to ask for brown bread which I felt should have been on the buffet table, also the toast and breakfast was cold when I received it - which shouldn't have been in my opinion cos you had to order the breakfast?!!
Amazing gem in Dublin

I stayed at the Buswells Hotel at the end of June and me and my family loved every single minute we were there.
This place is conveniently located, right next to Trinity College and many other areas. The hotel is comfortable, rooms were spacious compared to there hotels in Dublin and the bar and the little gathering room next to reception were great.
The design of the hotel though is a bit of a maze, we got lost getting to our room the first time as there's many steps up and down and passages in order to get to the rooms.
The dining room was great and the food was delicious. The food at the bar was great too, I had the most amazing shepherd's pie I've ever had there and I have had quite a few in my life.
The bell boy is super friendly, charming and he was a great resource as we were always asking him for directions.
I will definitely go back, this place is cozy, charming and conveniently located. Thank you Buswells for a great vacation!
Great place to stay in great location.

We stayed here for only two nights but really enjoyed the experience. Although the restaurant was closed, we had a very good bar meal and sat in the comfortable lounge for the evening. The breakfast was a pleasure, with friendly service, nothing was too much trouble. The bedroom was noisy with overhead renovations and it was cold until I discovered that the central heating had been turned off and a window left open! The bathroom was very small but it appears that all the rooms are different. I will certainly stay at Boswell’s next time I am in Dublin.
