Rodman100on 20/04/2017 21:48A good 2 star option for La Spezia. Shared bathroom facilities on each floor. Excellent wifi speed, especially when you are in the internet room. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The historical centre of town is only a 8 to 10 minute walk away.
Nice and simpel
MKN1979on 28/07/2016 12:27I had a room with a balcony, that was nice, gave the option of get out in the evening and morning. But no good view, just look over the roads and it's not possible to see the water..
I would rather call it a bed and breakfast then an hotel.
The rooms are clean and nice, but there are not much comfort, just the bed and a TV.
Also if you don't speak italian, its' not to easy. I did not meet any from stop how was talking anything but italian.
But the good thing, they don't try be something they are not. They don't try be a world stay hotel, they keep it nice and simple.
So over all. I would use it again, it's a nice place to stay. Gives you many option to see the city and to get around.
Simple, Clean Room for a Night
NorCalCraigon 07/08/2015 10:25We stayed here for a night on our way back from Cinque Terre. It's located a short cab ride away from the train station near the port, where there is a pretty stroll. The room was simple with the bath down the hall, which was exquisitely clean, a nice feature when you're sharing. Our room had a very functional air conditioner (La Spezia is hot and humid in August), and a bit noisy in the morning. Overall, very satisfactory for a short visit.
OK but not great value for money

Locations is a little out of the way if you plan on walking to and from the train station. A little on the noisy side if you're a light sleeper (street traffic, other guests arriving back late, waste water pumps from adjoining rooms).
Was quite a overpriced for what it is.
Far from train station
Jennifer Aon 15/08/2014 18:58This hotel is very far from La Spezia train station. It's about a 20 minute walk if you're walking fast. There is not much around it either. Have to walk back toward the train station to find a restaurant or bar. The room was clean with air conditioning. We had a shower in our room and a sink but no toilet. These were just in the corner of the room which was a bit weird. Had to use a communal toilet in the hall. Breakfast was very good especially for being free! Had the most out of any free breakfast we've had in Europe. The bed was comfortable. No real complaints other than the walk to the train station. Overall a decent stay.
