Best place in Cahuita!

This place has it all! It's located in an area that's close enough to visit everything in the area. In the morning, they provide light snacks (toast, eggs and fresh fruit) and coffee/tea. The hosts are some of the best I've encountered in my budget travels. The gentleman (David) sat down with us in the beginning and explained everything we can see or do during our stay. He even suggested some great places to eat. The lady (Enrica) greeted us immediately upon our arrival with a warm smile and was willing to sit down for kind chats and great suggestions. The rooms are large, have ensuite bathrooms and are clean with patios that have sitting room (hammock included). If you're looking for a place that feels like home, look no further. You will find it and more in Cabinas Caribe Luna.
A wonderful paradise in Costa Rica!!!

I spent one week in Caribe Luna and my stay was amazing! Enrica and Davide let you feeling at home, nice breakfast with home made marmelade and always a smile for you. They help me and my friend picking up from the bus station and giving a really good check in with all the crucial information needed to have the best vacation in Cahuita! The cabina was big and properly cleaned, the kitchen with all the things you need. The garden is so nice, full of flowers!! I saw some monkeys in the tree just in front of my cabina!!!!! I strongly recommend to enjoy the vacation there, it was my best accommodation in Costa Rica!
Lovely place, lovely hosts!

Cahuita was the first place we visited on our first trip to Costa Rica, and Cabinas Caribe Luna was a great introduction to Costa Rican hospitality. We would've stayed longer, if possible.
The location is perfect--just a few minutes' walk to Playa Negra or, in the opposite direction, into town. The cabins are airy, cool, and comfortable, and having a small kitchen was very handy. The grounds are wonderful--flowers everywhere. We spent a lot of time hanging out in the terrace/porch area attached to our cabin.
The hosts, Enrica and David, repeatedly went above and beyond all reasonable expectations to make sure guests were comfortable. When we discovered that Expedia had screwed up our reservation and we were booked for three nights instead of four, they rearranged a few things so we could stay for the entire time and Enrica spent a long time patiently sifting through communications to discover the source of the error and make sure we were not charged twice. She also spent quite a bit of time on the phone dealing with the car rental agency on our behalf. David and Enrica are wonderful, generous people, and I look forward to staying at Cabinas Caribe Luna on future trips.

Just recently stayed there the cabins were wonderful, beautiful scenery and great vicinity, close to everything. Erica and David were so helpful and kind to my niece and I, they were very informative about the area. I was able to relax and take in nature with the beautiful gardens and enjoy ourselves.

We booked this place in maybe November, paid a deposit and was sent a confirmation email. We made the mistake of booking directly, however. When our flight was delayed, we contacted the establishment only to have the people (using the same email as previously) weave a story about how a previous owner (or manager, they flip flopped a lot) had taken the deposit and left and they had no idea about the reservation, and were not willing to take any steps to rectify the matter. They told me to contact the other guy directly, but never sent his contact info. They told me they were new owners, then managers, and just generally screwed my preschooler and I over royally, a day before we arrived. DO NOT BOOK HERE. They do not care about customer service, or their reputation. There are lots of other great places around this area. Avoid this one, lest you be their next mark.
