This Hotel is in the city center. Rooms are tiny-type. Good if you do not spend more time than necessary in the room. Breakfast is basic one. Parking can get full quick, alternatives are by the sea side, in the Hotel they recommend NSI-Navitas as the cheapest public parking.

I want to write that "you get what you pay for" but that sounds too negative. The rooms in the Cabinn Hotel are small, and that is fine given how inexpensive they are. They are clean and the bed was very comfortable. My one issue with my room was that the bathroom was so small that the shower and the bathroom were essentially one small area--fine. But every time I turned the water on in the sink, to wash my hands for instance, or perhaps brush my teeth, the showerhead leaked on my dry and fully dressed person as the shower head was essentially directly above the sink. I've read this complaint from other occupants and I would really urge the management to look into this issue. I was in Aarhus on business and the first time it happened I needed to entirely change as I was readying myself in the morning for my business meeting. It really was a pain.
Otherwise, I have no complaints. My room was very quiet I was there in the fall, the window was closed, my room faced an interior courtyard, not the canal which I imagine is quite busy in the warm weather.) The staff were friendly enough. It is a very do it yourself establishment, again that is fine given the price. But the bathroom issue really needs to be addressed.

BEWARE!!!
This hotel has minimal rooms with sub standard facilities. The breakfast was almost ok but in a dining room where I would not dare to leave any valuables on the table even for brief moments dur to tje clientel.
After the first night they didn’t clean the room and was not interested in reimbursing any money whatsoever.
I came back to the room VERY late and they offered to allow me to change room (fat chance)
I had to get a new towel since the old was needed to dry up the bathroom floor.
The bathroom is practically a toilet with a shower on top. I would recommend going for airBnB even for business travelers since this establishment hs lower standards than YMCA.

We were originally staying at a new hotel in Aarhus. Unfortunately its opening was delayed and they secured us alternative accommodation here. We were lucky they did as there was a major conference in town involving over1000 delegates most of whom were on a budget. The Cabinn was full.
They enforce a strict check in time but will accommodate your luggage if you are early. I suggest that you avoid returning at check in time, we queued for a considerable time before finally picking up our keys.
Cabin by name and cabin by nature the rooms are small but are exceedingly well designed and planned so their size is not a problem......unless you are a larger person,,,
Breakfast, if you take it, is not inspired but functional. There is nothing hot but it isn't for us a problem.
The hotel location is excellent and you can reach it on foot from the station by pedestrian areas and streets.
There are also lots of restaurants nearby along the canal and it is close to what has been described as the world's best public library.
You will hear the cathedral bells.

The location is very convenient, right next to the cathedral in the very centre of Aarhus,
But we have not seen rooms so tiny yet, ours was about six or seven square meters, and two adults can just about manage in it. Yet you have ' all you need to sleep' there - the hotel also uses this slogan. But you also need peace and quiet and air to sleep - and this was in shortage. If you open the window, the very noisy hustle and bustle of people drinking outside long into the night especially at the weekend gets to you easily, and if you close the window then you will need more air soon in this tiny space. The bed is not especially small and is comfortable, everything is clean, there are plenty of powerpoints and complimentary tea and coffee, a TV too, fine towels etc.The hotel is busy, was full at our time and sometimes you need to queue at the reception. The breakfast bufet is very good, lots of things to choose from. Considering that Denmark is a very expensive country, this hotel is affordable, but you still pay quite a lot for the amazingly small room (and extra for breakfast).
