Lovely hotel and great staff. Really enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect and near many of London’s attractions. We had a few queries prior to arrival and the Reservations manager was extremely helpful.

We stayed for a week and were out of the Hotel being tourists for most of the time. The location is fantastic and very easy for all activities. Heating and Wifi both worked well. Desk staff were helpful and friendly. The room was small, clean and simple. Unfortunately it was let down by two issues. 1. Our bathroom was just so poorly fitted out that it was almost funny. The sink is too shallow to the wall and you hit your head on the mirror whilst shaving. The big issue was the shower which did not have a door or proper screen. Water would just flow out onto the floor and get EVERYTHING wet. The floor as a result is uneven and feels rotten below the laminate. 2, The room attendant did not take any notice and so when we ran out of soap and then the shampoo I had to ask for more. I don't think two small bars of soap and 1 extra shampoo for two people for 6 days is too much to expect. It was a small thing but to get back to the room tired and to then have to go back to the desk an ask was a little annoying. Otherwise I would recommend this hotel to others depending on the price or deal you get.

Nice welcome on arrival. Modern communal areas not quite matched by the rooms. Rooms were also very small though the bed with mattress topper was really comfortable and (on the top floor) there was no noise disturbance. No complimentary bottled water but code free wifi. White Company toiletries.
Breakfast next morning was good in the modern basement restaurant with a fair selection of continental and English options.
Nice enough as a base if rates are decent.

stayed at the caesar with my wife for 4 days on a short break to London. the hotel is situated in Westminster and is only a short walk from Paddington tube station. opted for an executive room which was well worth the extra. drinks in the hotel are reasonably priced by London standards. staff could not be more friendly and helpful.we hope to be back in London next year and would have no hesitation staying here again.

We stayed for 8 days in London. Loved the location of The Caesar. As others have reviewed, yes - it is a quiet residential street. This hotel seemed to cater to 45+ clientele. I never saw any rowdiness in the bar. Always demure.
The room was small for such a long stay and luggage, but we managed. There wasn't a dresser to put our clothes in. Just the Armoir with the doors off track (my nemesis for the week). A bit disappointing. No mini bar or fridge. Did have a kettle (but our was broken - prong broken off), and no coffee first day. When coffee was stocked, it was instant coffee. Ummmm - No thanks!. No wash clothes unless you ask. huh? But we never had to ask again. An ample supply of wash clothes were granted us each day. We won the wash cloth lottery!
Staff was polite, but not warm. Wait for it - we went into the bar one night with a bottle of wine, and asked to have it opened for us and our friend. (For the record, we had 2 drinks in the bar, and tapas, the night before - so we weren't being cheap.) The manager looked us up and down and said, "no." Yeah, that's not gonna fly with this American girl who doesn't take kindly to the word "no." Needless to say, our bottle of wine was opened. AND and ice bucket was granted me each night I asked for the remainder of our stay.
I guess the bar manager took one look at us, and thought we were riff raff off the street. I find that funny as heck right now, but I didn't then. A fat 40-something American woman is riff raff who paid a lot of money to stay here. So, we did find the staff a bit snooty.
That said, the room was clean and quiet. Cleaned daily. The bathroom had the tub, and I agree with other reviewers - it could be difficult for some folks to get out of the tub. They do not supply any non-skid mats for the tub. Not much in the way of hand holds (I'm starting to sound like a pensioner). I'm just pointing out something that may be important to some.
Both the bus and tube are a lovely walk, and I always felt safe walking the neighborhood.
I would return to this hotel for another stay in London - if that means anything to anybody. I would just request a larger room.
