This was our first family vacation to a dude ranch. It is now at the top of our vacation list! Staff is so friendly, Mike, Marsha, Karissa, the wranglers and all the staff and guests! This was just what our family needed, relaxation, no TV, limited WiFi, relaxation and a beautiful scenery made for an amazing bonding experience. Everything was clean and well kept. I am completely satisfied with our stay at the ranch. We also got the pleasure of meeting the owners, who were also very nice and accommodating. We absolutely loved every second of it!

My family and I spent the day at Malibu this past weekend. The ranch was very nice and it had plenty of things to do. It wasn't very crowded at all so we didn't have to wait for anything. The people at the front desk were very helpful and eager to answer any questions. We did horseback riding, shot bow & arrows, went to the range. Our only disappointment was lunch. We were seated with other people who were very nice. The lunch itself was a joke. We were given a choice between 3 different things. A turkey sandwich, a very small cup of egg salad or 2 buffalo chicken sliders. All served with about 10-15 fries. The waitress was not friendly at all. I would think for $80.00 per person they certainly could have done a little better than that.

My husband and I spent a few days here for our anniversary. We had a blast disconnecting from the rest of the world and enjoying everything the ranch had to offer. The food was good (special thanks to Austin!), all the animals were well taken care of and all the wranglers are awesome (we learned a lot while having a good time), the rooms were clean, and the rest of the staff was also fantastic (Mike, Kurt, Karissa, and everyone else)! We paid for the cattle drive which was really cool!

Just returning from our third stay at ranch and the only disappointment was not seeing our good friend "the Colonel!" This time around my daughter brought her friend along and they both had a blast riding trails, helping in the barn and hanging out with the wranglers. Jamie was so kind and patient with my girls and taught them so much about horses and nature during their rides. He guided us on a beautiful scenic ride on our last day and took about 50 pictures of us to make sure we captured just the right shot :) Jen/Chris/Josh and John - top notch service from these guys and as always, with a smile. Such a great time and a real escape from the rat race for me. Definitely planning to book a day trip sometime soon!

I have never written a review before but this trip deserves one! Four of us recently spent the weekend for my friend's 50th Birthday. None of us knew what to expect but we had high expectations. The Malibu Dude Ranch exceeded those expectations in every way. The staff was extremely friendly; the rooms were clean, and the activities were really fun. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had a good time. We rode horses and used the rifle range, as well as we went on the cattle drive ($100 extra but definitely worth the money). The food was also good. We thought this would be a one and done trip. However, we are already talking about going back next year. Additionally, I will probably be taking my wife and two daughters on a long weekend since the resort seemed to be very kid friendly. Good Job Malibu Dude Ranch. Lastly, we would like to thank Kurt, Chris, John, and Jen personally.
