Unpreposessing exterior, but most comfortable room and superb organic food for breakfast

A small semi-detached house on a quiet housing estate is not where you would expect to find a B&B - but it is well worth a visit.
My bed was comfortable and the en-suite shower room excellent - I had a small fridge in my room which kept the freshly-supplied milk fresh!
The wi-fi worked well and was free: the highlight though was the breakfast which was first-class and all organic. From the freshly squeezed orange and grapefruit juice to the superb sausages and bacon and wholemeal toast, I could find no fault whatsoever.
The owner's two dogs were friendly too - both terriers who look like miniature sheep!
An excellent bed and breakfast.

I have stayed at this bed and breakfast many times. The rooms are excellent, warm, comfortable and clean, with good phone and wi fi connections. Gwyneth is a great hostess, friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is wholesome and cooked with local organic foods. The house is close to shops, restaurants and a local pub, and there are many interesting places to visit nearby.
This is a peaceful and relaxing place to stay and I hope to visit again soon.

I had have just done a short contract in Honda trading Ltd up in Swindon and chose Calne Bed and breakfast as my accommodation. I was greeted by a very kind lady and her two lovely doggies and my room was very tidy and indeed cosy. I would thoroughly recommend this bed and breakfast as your destination for a stay and Gwyneth is extremely knowledgeable about the local area and If I stay in the area again I will definitely rebook.
Not your usual B&B

I booked this room well in advance as I was needed to stay in Calne, paying £35 for the single room. I arrived as arranged at 7PM, as it was dark it was a bit tricky to find, as there are no signs indicating that it's a bed and breakfast.
It was a bit of a culture shock upon arriving to find that it was just a normal house with bedrooms, and no locks on the doors. It was something I'd expect to book on Air B&B as opposed to Hotels dot Com. The rooms were well equipped with tv, mini fridge and kettle, though the signal on the TV kept breaking up. It also had a bit of clutter in my room, such as books and a bottle of Jack Daniels sauce, but the bed was confortable and there was a good amount of room.
The lady and her 2 dogs were nice and friendly, and the breakfast was excellent, both in taste and quantity. It's located close to Calne Town FC, which was ideal for me, I was staying there at the same time as another foootball fan.
