Panama isnt our favorite because it seems to be more of a party atmosphere and theres tons of traffic. Upon arrival at our hotel we heard cursing, and yelling so that was an instant turn off. If that doesnt bother you then it will be fine. our room was quiet in calypso and we had great views. it was within walking distance to a lot of places but i dont think its worth paying more to stay next to pier park. i didnt love the shopping there. we did have a great time but we will return to Destin where its more laid back.

The condo was beautifully and tastefully decorated and so spacious! We had a beautiful view of the ocean and were close to Pier Park. The location was ideal! We stayed on the 7th floor and will definitely request the same place, if possible, the next time we are there! We loved it!

I loved staying at Calypso. It was very nice and, you couldn't beat the location! Pier park was within walking distance. Which this was perfect. I have seen some bad reviews about the elevators but, I didn't have any complaints about them.

First of all if you were looking for a good, clean, and spacious place, look no further, the facilities are amazing, the room size it's even better. The pools are clean, and the beach is right there, they also have a bar which have really good frozen drinks but you can always bring your cooler to the beach, which is very clean! They also have cabana that you can rent, which we did, and it was worth it, but also you can always bring your own umbrella and chairs it's up to you ( it is a little pricey, it's $40 a day, but we did with the owner, which we paid $40 for the whole stay) !! Keep in mind, this is a resort, and there is no housekeeping until the day you leave, which was OK for us! Also you have a lot of restaurants and stores within walking distance, you can literally see the Pier shops from the front door. It is a little pricey, but if you want to piece of mind and to have a good time it's definitely worth it ! I did my reservation with Anthony at VIP Beach destinations, and we got the one bedroom apartment on the first floor ( 107) everything was great, the only bad part was to have to leave! Will definitely come back for a longer stay

My wife and I stayed for an extended weekend.
This is hands down the best location to stay within PCB. We stayed on the 6th floor and had gorgeous view of the beach and the pier. A 2 minute walk and we were at Pier Park. Again the location is the best location in PCB. We walked over to Pier Park every night for dinner and drinks.
The pier itself is really nice as it bustling with activity. We walked the pier and talked with a number of the fishermen and saw quite a few being caught.
The pools are the best on PCB beach as well. For one important reason. There is no visible fence between the pool and the Gulf. So you feel like your at tropical resort. The Tiki bar adds to the ambiance.
Make sure you stay at a room that has beach service as we loved that. Our own assigned beach chairs every day with umbrella. It was nice to be lazy :)
Rent a nice room and you won't regret it! We're going back for sure.
