Awesome place to stay with a pet, terrible restaurant
James1141on 16/11/2017 06:17Housekeeping and staff were all attentive and friendly towards my cat who stayed with me for 4 nights here. I specifically asked if i could leave my cat unleashed/uncaged which was honored and she did not escape which hopefully meant the staff honored my wish to keep the door mostly closed. The housekeeping manager seemed to be experienced in dealing with cats and housekeeping when i inquired about this.
Great service, great front desk and real quick check in. Clean rooms, but bathrooms could use a remodel, they are severely outdated and the walls seemed cracked/repaired frequently.
Restaurant is terrible you can go there for a good beer but the food was subpar, with some fake korean-fusion dishes that tastes terrible which ruins the room service experience.
Awesome staff, I hope to stay again when i travel with my cat.

Leo hon 09/11/2017 13:01Booked thru hotwire...really can't go wrong in cambridge booking a 3 star....options usually end up being holiday inn best Western or conference centre...probably saved at least 40 bucks... nice gym for a hotel....

mistymom42on 30/10/2017 09:32I attended a conference at this hotel this past weekend and was disappointed with the venue. There was not nearly enough food for either the breakfast or the lunch. Many people had little to no food. The selection of items was poor and the there were no healthier choices or gluten free. The food was very nice though. The coffee which was good in the morning was never refilled nor did it remain hot therefor for the coffee and lunch breaks there was cold stale coffee. The main room was lovely however the two meeting rooms were small and crowded. They did not accommodate the group sizes well nor did they take into consideration there were people with wheel-chairs who were attending. Because the rooms were so crowded the rooms were hot. All the tables were set up with glasses for water but they didn't provide any to the room I was in. In the other room they had water but no clean glasses for the second session in the morning. Nobody tidied the rooms between sessions. The main room was in the basement and the meeting rooms on the main floor. We were a group made up of people including some in wheelchairs and others with mobility issues that did not allow them to use the stairs however 1 or the 2 elevators was on service when it was time to split into groups.
It looks like a lovely hotel and I am sure the rooms are lovely however as a conference centre they need to step up their game considerably. This was our first time using this facility and I am not sure that I would want to use it a second time.

Guy Hon 18/10/2017 22:35Very happy with this fine hotel. Very clean and freindly. Enjoyed the beer place in the lobby. I would recommend this hotel for buisness people for sure. I this the staff where very nice. Next time I visit Cambridge I will for sure stay there.

Pemeliaon 11/10/2017 05:45Happy with our stay here. Beautiful atmosphere and decor. Staff were excellent. Helped with anything we needed and very friendly. Quiet rooms, no noise pollution from the hallway. Tons of amenities near by, and about a 15 minute drive to/from Guelph.
