A truly comfortable hotel. Clean room, well appointed. The staff are OUTSTANDING - friendly, polite, informed and always helpful. Very reasonably priced. A quiet room on a quiet corridor. The hotel is well located for visiting the city.

Stay was fine. Not sure we would stay again though. Would be better to spend a little extra for one of the other downtown hotels. Room humid after being out all day. Not enough air circulation. Found air filter was completely plugged. Gym equipment broken and no expected date of repair. Restaurant food ok not gourmet. Basic cable with no movie channel options or pay per view. Be aware that there is a 20.00 per night parking fee that they did not mention even though we specifically asked about parking. We added an extra night so that we could see more sights and at check out they also tried to add an extra 20.00 for that night over the original price and argued about it though they could not not explain the different price. It was not a week end. Room was fine. 1970's furniture. Clean. Overall staff are great. Great location. Good spot if you have a pet.

Stayed here during a conference and it was a good choice. The breakfast was a real plus - lots of options and easy. My room was comfortable as was the bed. The hotel was conveniently located, with lots to do within walking distance.

Check in is a breeze and staff is pleasant. Our room was ready and spotless with a great view. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. We ate late supper in hotel and were satisfied and happy to enjoy a nice meal after a busy day.

We love to visit the city of Halifax and this motel is in a perfect location downtown. The changes I suggested will certainly improve the quality of the motel service. Friendliness is free and improves the quality of the service for the customer (Smile it is free). The quality of the service was unsatisfactory however, the location and parking availability is first rate. Even though the cleanliness of the room was poor, we still left a tip for the cleaning staff because the ones we met in the hallway were friendly and we realize that they probably only make minimum wage. The location of our room provided us with quiet and therefore, we did have restful sleep.
