In general the staff is not friendly nor gently. And their food service is even worse. At La Huerta Restaurant the waiters are extremely slow. They are talking all the time between each other outside of the place but they don't pay attention to their customers. The food is good however they bring it in different times and sometimes not cooked properly. I hope it improves soon.

Based upon a recommendation I booked a one night stay at Camino Real in Santa Fe. The location was great but unfortunately the hotel was not even a three star. The wifi didn't work even after the technicians intervention. Told by Diana that restaurant would offer a 20 % discount on food purchase but Christian the waiter didn't know anything about the discount. The problem was corrected the next day but frustrating. Overall the hotel was just OK.

It's not my first stay in this hotel, I even wrote a review here with 2 starts (poor rating). This time I was supposed to stay 5 days. I had my doubts but I accepted to stay here since it was booked by my company. What a mistake. Nothing works in the hotel. Check in takes forever. It is hard for me to understand why. Is that really so hard to expedite this process? The food is bad. Salads are ridiculous. The worst part is the internet. IT DOES NOT WORK. Can you believe? I bought the high speed package, but it is useless. It is just not acceptable. I was supposed to stay 5 days but I am checking out tomorrow.

I stayed at Camino Real Sta Fe on my first visit to Mexico city this February, booked originally for 1 night but stayed 1/2 more cus of my work.
I got a wonderfuk modern room in floor 12.
Amenities and view were 5 star hotels details.
I tried the cleaning service , a lot! Due to a problem i Had with my bag at airport I had to clean all my clothes from one day to the other specially because I was needing it to wear!
Dry cleaners made an awesome.job with my boots! They delivered the following day so I got the chance to the get room for 1/2 more in order I could wait for my delivery.
Cleaning service worked amazing and they deliver the clothes on the same day too! That was a goal! All my bag came back spotless.!!
Breakfast is included but was not as enjoyable as I would like. Variety was huge! But not as good the quality.
Internet access was not free. So kind of a burden for someone travelling for work. Have in mind you have to pay for an access code.
All things equal I would recommend to stay in it for its staff service, rooms and location!

This hotel allowed to have an event in their "terraza" with music and somebody speaking at very high volumes... on a Tuesday night, its midnight and the noise makes it impossible to sleep. Called the night manager and all she said is that they told them to turn it down, evidently they did not listen.
