My trip to Angel Falls was a bit of a roller coaster, with a very wet canoe ride and me getting a fever. So it felt heavenly to come back from the campsite and stay at the Tapuy Lodge. My room was beautiful, the staff members were very friendly, and the location on the lagoon is perfect.
One thing to be aware of is that there's quite a food shortage in Venezuela. The staff does their best with what they have, but don't expect the most gourmet food (here or anywhere in Canaima).

Just stayed the one night at the lodge, but they organized my trip to Angel Falls. When I returned I still had the use of the room for a shower before leaving.
The room was excellent, quiet and the bed was excellent for a good nights sleep.
Excellent meals were provided and delivered by Maryanne, who was so friendly and accommodating.
Beautiful location on the edge of Canaima Lagoon overlooking the falls.

Just returned from a fantastic visit to Venezuela, which included a three-day stay at Tapuy Lodge. The staff was very friendly, the food was excellent, the rooms are air conditioned and well maintained, and the views are unbeatable! We actually ended up adding a day to our stay because we enjoyed it so much.

We stayed Tapuy lodge as a base for Angel falls in September 2016.
This lodge is located on the lagoon and clean enough.
Jose, the tour gude to both Salto Sapo and Salt El Angel, is excellent knowledge and we enjoyed the stay.
They have minor maintenance issued, but it is acceptable.

専属のガイドのホセさんが、少し日本語も話せて、とても親切でよかったです。

The stay at Tapuy Lodge was included in our tour. So we did not choose this place but we were happy to stay here. We were the only guest at this lodge for one day and we could occupy the whole living area and dining area by ourselves, which was quite nice and relaxing. They gave us welcoming drink, free coffee during the day, and drinks at dinner table. Food was quite good too.
The beach is near by and we could stroll along the water to see amazing falls. It was quite a sight. One wall light fixture in our room was not working and sometimes there was no hot water in the shower, but I think that is not the fault of this lodge. It is Venezuela.
The staff and the guide Jose was all helpful and friendly. I would choose Tapuy Lodge again if I could come back to Angel Falls.
