We booked the hotel as we were watching the Tour De France nearby. The hotel is well located close to the town centre, but it still offers free parking. The whole place looks new (I think it is a couple of years old). The rooms were very good and there was a lovely outside area. If you need a cheap place to stay in the lovely city of Abbi, then this is a good spot.

Driving and parking a car in Albi is a misery. From the Campanile Centre and its safe car-park you can walk to any tourist site, restau or shop in under15 minutes.
One member of the management staff was astonishingly sensible and helpful.

Go somewhere else. Room is uncomfortable and noisy. Beds were saggy and the linens were old and grayish. The main guy is grumpy and not overly friendly.Parking is hard after 8:30 we had to park in the street Breakfast was good, but staying here for it isn't worth it You can do better than this Motel Go Find it

We chose this hotel because it claimed to have airconditioning and parking and seemed a good price. The building is new and seems poorly designed and the setup was totally inappropriate for Summer temperatures. The aircon in our room was completely ineffective and we felt like we were sleeping in an oven. Perhaps a room on the ground floor in the middle of the building would have been cooler (we were on the first floor on the end of the building that caught the sun during the day). The location was good for the city centre and it did have free parking, and in less extreme temperatures (it was 36 degrees the day we stayed) perhaps it would have been OK. When we told the staff at the front desk that our airconditioning did not work properly we were told that this was "not possible" and that we must not have set the airconditioning controls properly (we are perfectly capable of operating airconditioning controls - this was not the problem!). We were told that it was one airconditioning system for the entire building, which may well have been the problem. The staff did get angry with us when we insisted that it was not our fault that the room was hot. However we had stayed the night by that point so there wasn't much that we could do other than move on. Will not be staying here again.
