We arrived very late having been delayed with traffic in Paris. We had called the hotel to tell them about our difficulties. We could not find the campanile so ended up arriving late but we were welcomed and had a delicious dinner with no pressure, we just had a main course which was ample. Booked over the 'phone two days before, very helpful receptionist, spoke beautiful english.
Arrived after a slog up from the Dordorgne., looking forward to our steak frites (family tradition after many years of Campanile stops), were informed no chef at weekends so (cold) entrees and desserts only!
Path to rooms littered with cotton buds and the odd razor end, cigarette butts. Tired rooms, no kettle (it has exploded apparently). The coup d'grace was no hot water in the morning. We have always enjoyed our stays at Campaniles over the years but this was a horrible experience!
Not cheap as we had booked 3 rooms.
Very disappointed.

Two overnight stays at each end of our holiday.

First night of our holiday- given a room under the steps with the knowledge that a large coach party arriving late.Asked if we were staying for dinner to book an early time as large party was coming in. Ended up walking into Arras centre for an enjoyable evening meal. Disturbed reguarly as various members of large group shouted instructions to others. On our return visit, given a room at back of building-quieter. However mould on bathroom ceilng grubby shower screen and toilet roll not on dispenser-just left on side. This may sound petty but this was after we had been told that(on a Saturday night) there was no chef so starters and desserts only. Very loud party of what appeared to be friends of concierge(male) made us feel rather uncomfortable as we were only ones in for evening meal at the time, We have stayed in a few Campanile hotels but this was a grubby disappointment. Not a good end to our holiday.

A little tucked away on industrial estate but quiet night.Reception staff pretty helpful although i arrived at 21.30 and the buffet was being cleared,having said the restaurant was shut they then produced steak frites,a bit tough but welcome as nothing else nearby.You can drive out and get back in with a code for the gate.Standard twin room.I felt more secure with a suitcase wedged against door.Slept well.Surfaces outside room littered with cigarette butts and the odd dog turd,c'est la France.
Very nice big breakfast buffet.
So,ok for a break on the long drag south.

Good for an overnight, only 3km from A26 autoroute.

Very comfortable king-size bed, good evening meal, excellent English cooked breakfast as well as the usual continental. A kettle in your room, always a a plus for me. On the downside, despite refurbishment the access to 1st floor rooms is still by an antiquated outdoor concrete spiral staircase, not easy for the less than nimble. Breakfast is not served until 7am on weekends & bank holidays (6.30am weekdays) which is not good if you want an early start.
