Air condition out of order in two rooms out of two tried. If you have trouble sleeping in overheated rooms be aware.
Located in a comercial area that may be useful
Relatively far from Besancon.

Easy to locate with adequate parking, surrounded by plenty of shops to restock any diminished supplies, convenient for food and restaurants and only a hop skip and jump from Sunny Switzerland. Agreed it is a younger market town and the hotel does not look much, but the staff are friendly and helpful, the food is reasonably priced and quite tasty, the rooms are clean and the AIR-CON works!!!

Stayed there for one night because it was conveniently located along the main road into Besancon. Clean and comfortable room. No frills. Perfect for an overnight stay. Perfect location if you don't want to drive all the way into the city center

This was a one night stop-over for my wife and I having driven from Lugano in Switzerland. This was the third campanile we had stayed in in France during our trip. On the plus side for us was the that this hotel was very convenient for the local Geant Hypermarche. The rooms were basically up to the usual Campanile level; comfortable but basic. The external decor was somewhat tired and shabby and needed a good makeover. The restaurant was not up to Campanile standards, even though what food there was was alright. The amounts of food displayed we inadequate and well below the Campanile norm. Breakfast was worst with almost nothing left at 8:30am with NO coffee (breakfast closes at 9:00am). Requests we just ignored. We left feeling that we would not be staying there ever again.
