Worst Campanile "restaurant" I have ever used

Staying here for one night so decided to make use of the restaurant, usually find that Campanile restaurants are pleasant and good value so I was expecting my usual good value experience. The hotel itself came up to the usual expectations. Anyway when we went down to eat we were shown to our table and ordered our drinks and said we would have the buffet starter and buffet main. On going to the central area where the starters were, the choice was a fraction if what most Campanile's offer and even this was depleted, with nothing more than a sad bit of salad and a couple of slices of cold cuts left. Noone came out to replenish it. The main course buffet was ONE dish with a few sad vegetable choices so we asked to have something else from the menu. All they could offer was a burger, none of the steak choices on the menu were available, so we reluctantly agreed as we had started to drink the wine and had an early start so could not face the prospect of travelling into central Paris to try and find food. We bit the bullet and ate. On leaving the restaurant we were asked to pay there and then, they would not add the bill to our room, which kind of felt like they were saying we don't trust you to pay. A terrible, terrible meal at a chain where I've always had a positive experience until today. It was NOT a restaurant, it wasn't even up to the standards of a trucker cafe . We will certainly give this one a wide berth in the future.

back from national holidays 5 day holiday to paris.
Stayed at Campanile Hotel Bobigny. The hotel is in the outskirts of Paris about 50 mins drive from the centre.
It looks nothing from the outside just a square 5 floor bland building. However inside it is spotless modern helpful staff a lovely small bar joining a nice bistro type restaurant.
The rooms were modern very clean and comfortable with a lovely bathroom tea & coffee facilities .
The continental breakfast was excellent plenty of choice lovely coffee and fruit juice.
The evening meal salad choice of meat and veg and lots of deserts I could not fault yhe hotel and would stay there again
NICE ENOUGH FOR A SHORT STAY

Got a great deal so went for it.
Clean Room...Clean Hotel...friendly & helpful staff....all pleasant for short stay.
Good brisk 10min plus walk to the Metro.
They have a buffet for breakfast, lunch & dinner if needed.
Great choice if you have a limited budget.
Nothing wrong with it

This hotel is fine, some of the reviews are a bit harsh. It's a cheap hotel in the Parisian suburbs which is clean and basic. It's fairly modern inside, the rooms are all very clean, white, seemed newly done out. The people on reception spoke English which was helpful to us. We had the breakfast and evening meal there everyday as we were part of a tour. Overall the food was fine, different choice each night and French themed. There could be more vegetarian stuff, but I was able to find something each time. If you're wanting to visit Paris the hotel is quite far out, on a Saturday evening it took us almost two hours to get back to the hotel through traffic. Probably quicker to get the metro. In the mornings on our coach it took about 40 minutes to get into the centre, but obviously the closer you stay to Paris the more expensive it is.

I am staying in a room here now for two nights.
This no-frills hotel is exactly what you pay for, no more nor less. It works for when you're out of money but still want the glamor of visiting Paris.
For example, an eat-all-you-want buffet dinner is offered at only €8 during weekends (not sure if the promotion is temporary but which other hotel can go cheaper than McDonald's?).
The room college-dormitory basic. You get to sleep, hang your clothes in an open closet, figure out creatively where to dry the towel as nothing is provided in the bathroom for that purpose, and surprisingly, get to make coffee as well.
It's possible to get here from the airport by taking an RER to Gare du Nord and then turning back via metro number 5 to Bobigby - Pablo Picasso (the terminating station). However I took an Uber from the airport and paid €20 instead. You will find that if you're coming other than alone, this is a faster, economically-sound option.
It's also possible to take a combination of train and bus here.
The metro station as well as the bus terminal is a short walk away. You can take a shortcut through a residential neighborhood of flats, so it's hardly scenic. I do not see any shops of restaurants along the way.
It takes a ride through 9 stops to reach Gare du Nord, so it's not exactly convenient to go in and out of Paris to this hotel. But for the pennies that it charges, which is next to nothing, I still think it is a reasonably good deal.
Security is quite tight. The gates are closed at night and you have to ring a bell to get inside.
