We visited the site in June using our ACSI discount card. The reception staff were polite, we managed to communicate with our basic knowledge of Italian. We stayed in our motorhome, so we were pitched at the bottom of the site, lots of room, but not many campers at that time. The swimming pool, restaurant and shop were super, as was the beach. We used the sunbeds and it was only a short walk or cycle ride from the site. Mosquitos were a problem, but the biggest problem was the sorry state of the toilets and showers, they were so bad, this was the first site that we preferred to use our own on board facilities. The toilets and showers need knocking down and rebuilding, this would make it an excellent site. The location is great, located between the sea and the lake in the Parco Nationale del Gargano. We cycled around the lake, around 38 miles and a few hills, but very enjoyable

The camping covers a large green area, adjacent to a dense seaside forest of pine trees and eucalyptus, in the middle of a pretty wild portion of the Adriatic cost-line: the balsamic air together with the nice sand beach and clear (and warm) sea water are worth the trip.
You can easily build your preferred package in terms of accommodation (type of bungalow / service): the wooden bungalows are pretty nice and cozy (Btw with musquito-tents) . We did not include the restaurant service, thus I cannot judge for that (…except for pizza which was very good!). The internal market is convenient with excellent local supplies of fresh bread / mozzarella / tomatoes: …adding local olive oil you could easily target you stay for a perfect Mediterranean diet (Btw breeding of mussels in the far open sea here makes fresh delicious sea-food available at cheap prices in the booths just a couple Km from the camp).
Suitable for a family vacation: your children will enjoy the smoothly degrading shore and the mini-club, in particular they will get crazy for the baby-dance (kind-of 30 min of truly energizing evening event). The animation team is fresh and young, but with a professional approach especially for the aqua-gym sessions, both at sea (am) and in the swimming pool (pm): Btw this is a reasonably large pool (kind-of 25m).
A few weaknesses to be aware of: 1) You have to cross a road to reach the beach from the camp (kids cannot be left alone). 2) Cars can be parked close to your accommodation (which sounds good) but in turn there can be cars slowly moving around the camp (small kids cannot be left unattended). 3) An adjacent camping plays loud music at night until about 30min after midnight (better the opposite side for kids). 4) Not all wooden bungalows are well shadowed by surrounding trees: with day temperatures >35C they keep the heat inside until night (make sure you are assigned one protected by trees …otherwise better opt for anything air-conditioned). 5) If you enjoy promenades all along the shore - away from the “organized beach” (Btw itself without WC) – better be prepared for the misery face of South-Italy: rubbish on the sand will kill the romantic view.
Overall: good value for money, suited fpr a family vacation: 100% un-edulcorated mediterranean flavor!

A very friendly athmosphere at this place, despite none of the staff were english-talking.
Tidy, and a fair restaurant Very good conditions for bathing. We felt as part of the family here!.
We lived in a good mobile home.
