What People are saying

Good front desk nice room lousy maid service

Bruno Zon 29/10/2017 03:32

The check in was great. Was moved to a non smoking room. Room was clean and a decent size. The price is good if you book it online. The problem came the next day. The room was not cleaned and made up. My food container was left in the garbage. The tub was not cleaned and the dirty towel was left on the floor in the washroom. This was disappointing to see that the room was left in this condition.

Decent price but could have done without the prostitutes

Stayed here for one night while attending a stag and doe. The price was right for a place to sleep but upon arrival, found two ladies beside our room that were clearly working. My wife heard them discussing their latest conquests which we don't need to hear.

The room was okay but, even though we are smokers, we found the odour very strong and noticed other rooms also smelled a bit gross. The bathroom had been updated but the main room needed a deep cleaning. There were also burn marks on the bedding. And, no coffee maker, hair dryer or iron to be seen.

The hotel has a great location, close to the mall, restaurants and such. Perhaps management might consider its clientele, refresh the rooms to turn this into a decent place to stay. Even our cab driver commented on the type of people that use this motel which wasn't comforting.

Disappointing

When I booked the night at the Travelers Inn, options were limited. I wasn't looking for much, only a comfortable place to spend the night. I suppose the facility offered this as the room had been recently 'renovated'. However, everything bout the place reflected shoddy. The towels resembled sandpaper, the soap 'bars' so small as to be nearly invisible. New paint over poorly prepared surfaces, a bathroom toilet that was off center etc. etc.. The bed was comfortable enough and the wifi was robust. However, lighting from the adjacent car dealership was so bright it was like high noon at midnight. No breakfast offered. The rate was not significantly different from other hotels in the area. I certainly learned why there was space available when others were full.

Not a bad experience. Great for two nights.

We stayed here for two nights. The room (King sized with one large bed) also included a table, two chairs to sit at, microwave, mini fridge, TV, bathtub/shower and air conditioning unit to keep it cool. Ice machine is provided down the hall. We were able to drive up to the room directly and unload/load the car. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. There was a bit of something that happened on the second day in the bathroom - shower compartment leaked all over the toilet area so make sure not to leave any clothes on the floor. You could see there was issues with that happening in that room due to the lack of cocking and sealant on the bathtub so water was leaking from underneath. There were two towels, bathmat, hand towels and face cloths provided along with a couple of toiletries. Nothing fancy, packet of shampoo and soap.

Overall it was a value ($) stay compared to what other hotels were asking. We booked very last minute for an impromptu trip to the area so we were happy to be accommodated for this non-smoking room. Front desk was informative and very helpful. It's was a pretty good experience for both of us, but take note - there are a couple of things to consider when booking here:

1) In-room coffee machine is not provided. You will need to venture out to get coffee in the morning if you drink it. There is a restaurant on site, but when we went to grab a coffee (9:30 am) it wasn't open. So you will need to take your chances with that one. Luckily there is a Starbucks almost right next door, and a Tim Horton's just down the road.

2) It's in somewhat of a shady area. We saw some folks shuffling around and seemed really sketchy. We always kept our eyes open when venturing out. I don't recommend leaving anything of value in your room or in your car. Common sense.

We had a good experience staying here and no real complications. It's nothing fancy and it's clean. We will be happy to stay here again in the future.

A night in Belleville.

I've stayed here many times, and usually give an ok review. Here is why my rating has dropped.
Even though I had a renovated, and clean room, there are several issues.
1) The lamp was arcing out! Huge hazard!
2) The bathroom sink the drain is plugged!
3) The water is in reverse in the bathroom sink.

I am now starting to check out my other options in Belleville. Room 135 on the 12th of June is my reason to search elsewhere. Was not worth $80+ tax. The people don't seem to try hard to keep a repeat customer. The place is actually clean, even tho from the outside it's relatively rough looking.
