Two night stay

The location of this facility was good. The room was clean and the beds were just ok. My troubles began with the electronic device on the door that allows you to slide a key card. My key was glitching and even after two new keys were made for me, we had a great deal of trouble getting into our room. It took about 5 minutes to get any hot water early in the morning. We went out for the day on Saturday and returned to find our room had not been cleaned. When we inquired about it at the front desk we were told that the cleaning service said we put the dead bolt on our door when we left through the sliding doors and they were not able to get in the main door and not allowed to enter through the sliding door. I explained to the front desk that I personally locked the sliding door AND used the bar they provided then exited through the main door. I could not have possibly have set the dead bolt from the outside of the room. They were reminded of the problem that we had been having with the keys and perhaps that is why the cleaning service could not get in. The TV worked only when it wanted to. Loud overnight trains make it difficult to sleep. The AC unit smelled like mildew when turned on. Needless to say, this motel will not get my money again.

One night stay

We stayed at this hotel for one night! And I found it to be very run down, on our way to the pool there was a big bay window and as you looked at it you could see weeds as high as 5 ft. There was a deck out there but the wood was all rotted out, you can see the back of the motel which was completely run down and all you can smell was the high concentration of chlorine from the pool which couldn't breathe because it was so strong as we arrived late after dinner we noticed that the blanket was dirty it had either pizza sauce or pasta sauce on it we made a complaint the next day, and the owner said you should have told me I would have changed your room! We explained to him that we didn't arrive till late in the evening and we were tired. He took $25 offer bill. I would not recommend this place to anyone for any price! It's dirty run down and needs a lot of work.

Excellent reception- poor everything else

We attended late night while on our way East- Went to bed quickly after midnight and then the morning is when we saw issues - pubic hair in the tub on the "jets", money still on table from a previous guest, taps on backwards; hot was on cold, cold on hot, tv remotes didn't work.
When I was checking out, I addressed this with the amazing front desk staff and they called their manager and I was offered a twenty dollar discount. I refused and said I would address it. Contacted head office. Got an email copied to both myself and the Trenton management; no response. I contacted motel 6 again; no response. So I wrote about my experience on twitter.
I feel that they do not take ownership for their staff not doing their diligence with cleaning. No apology and twenty dollars doesn't seem to cut it for me. Absolutely appalled.

Not My Experience

Having read the previous reviews for this motel, you might think my rating is the exception. But it seems to be an axiom of review writing that those with bad experiences are quick to get online and let their anger out.

We ended up staying here because most everything in the Belleville area was fully booked. We met only friendly faces in all our dealings with staff. The room was clean and comfortable. linens were fresh. Fridge was great. Really I don't know what to complain about.

DISGUSTING ! WORST Experience ! Terrible motel !

Don’t waste your money and your time, go look somewhere else !
The hygienic conditions are absolutely non acceptable. The AC was leaking and the floor was wet which resulted in a toxic smell. You can’t even breathe normally. In addition I found a big insect in the room without opening any window. We had to sleep in the car because all the hotels in the area were fully booked.

The receptionist was very kind and offered me a discount because they didn’t have any available room but the owner is just rude ! she didn’t even say sorry or we will fix the problem. She didn’t pronounce any single word. She was just looking at me while I was showing her the disaster that we had in the room and then left before I continue talking.

Again, it was a horrible experience !
