We stayed on the 4th & 5th of Oct,2017.
A month later, I am still reminiscing about our stay.
I informed Charmaine we would be arriving late to the accommodation. When we arrived, we were extremely hungry and we were delighted to see the food Charmaine had kept ready for us. I was simply amazed at how organized she was and the care she had taken to make our stay comfortable. I loved everything about the stay at Little Violet.
If you plan on staying, please take a moment to walk around their beautiful garden, they have done a wonderful job in maintaining it.
It was a beautiful getaway and we sure are coming back!

We loved the decor, views and incredibly comfortable beds complete with quality linens, teenagers loved the outdoor fire pit! The breakfast was a thoughtful and generous touch. I would recommend this place to everyone, and we will be back!

Little Violet:
My fiance and I stayed at Little violet over the grand final long weekend, what can we say but that it was absolutely amazing! Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by Charmaine who is absolutely lovely. There waiting for us was an extravagent Valley Ranges platter and home made hommus and savory puff pastry tarts, this was delicious. We were also given a variety of quality organic and free range produce/products for breakfast all of which was locally sourced, plus lots more. And we can't forget the spectacular homemade cakes made from the one and only Charmaine. What made us feel welcome from the start was that when we arrived music was playing, candles lit and the heaters on, this was such a warm welcome. This was truly beyond all our expectations. Thank you so much Charmaine for all your hospitality you are truly amazing! All the llittle touches and everything you had waiting for us upon arrival made our weekend getaway one of the best we've had. The only bad thing is that we couldn't stay any longer but we will be back! Once again thank you.

Our annual family getaway with our 3 children, partners and 3 grandchildren worked perfectly in this delightful home. Provisions for breakfast provided were excellent even for the 2 celiacs. A couple of minor issues on arrival were rectified immediately without any drama.
The house and surrounding gardens are beautiful and well maintained. The 3 living areas indoor as well as the covered outdoor area make it suitable for every family need, the only minor thing we would suggest is to have one of the areas seat 8 -10 for meals but we shifted some chairs and made do easily.
Highly recommend this property for a gathering such as ours.
Thanks for making everything so comfortable, even the heating was on and music playing on arrival.

Little Violet has been the most beautiful and relaxing experience for us, exceeding all expectations. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Charmaine, the friendliest and warmest host you could wish for. She had organised a gorgeous cheese and meat platter for us, along with a heap of homemade goodies (goats cheese and tomato tarts, cheesecake and apple cake, Lindt peanut butter cookies, a bottle of Shiraz and sherry), along with a huge gourmet breakfast platter. All ingredients were locally sourced and picked with utmost care. The cottage itself was extremely well designed and cozy, all rooms had plenty of light and you could enjoy the view of the mountains from the front porch. Extremely well maintained and had everything we required for the nights. Beautiful touches such as the many candles placed around the cottage to set a romantic scene, along with popcorn to enjoy while watching TV. Location was also fantastic, being right around the corner from Belgrave and a five minute drive to Sassafras, the scenery was incredible. Most importantly of all, Charmaime made us feel extremely special and spoilt. She was very attentive to all our needs and thought of everything we could possibly want being away. Lots of helpful notes around the house guiding us to make the most of our stay. We did not even leave the cottage for dinner as Charmaine had prepared us so much food, we wanted to sample everything she had to offer. If anyone is after an unforgettable trip away, I highly recommend staying at Little Violet. Had we had more time, I would prefer to stay a few nights longer. This had been the ultimate getaway which has renewed us and I cannot thank Charmaine enough for her gracious hospitality. It is evident that she loves what she does. We have been over the moon with this lovely getaway, and will be back ASAP.
