I had to default to this hotel as my normal location was booked. The room charge was $200 / night, which is almost double the normal rate that I pay. Upon getting off of the elevator, I noticed a strange odor in the hallway. Upon entering the room, the odor got worse. I am not sure that I can describe it, but it was less than pleasant. Right away, I noticed that the carpet was worn and wrinkled and the sofa upholstery was worn and torn. I found it difficult to sleep, as there is no air circulation in the bedroom and it gets hot and stuffy during the night. Add to this, the fact that there is a smoke detector on the ceiling over the bed that flashes bright green LED's in the room all night and it proves to be a challenging environment to sleep in for me.

So many things were right about this hotel for our trip; location to sports venue, staff, full kitchen, and clean. What is NOT ok is when you can hear every foot step from the floor above you. It caused waking during the night, EARLY on a Saturday morning, prevention of many naps during our week long stay. The last night the room above must have left a cell phone in vibrate mode on the floor and I went looking around my room thinking I had a random rogue phone in my room but was relieved when alas the footsteps above my head let me know it was the upstairs neighbor. Hopefully when IHG remodels this location they put some soundproofing between floors as it was missed in the construction process.

My sister and I stayed here and my daughter joined us for a mid week visit. Conveniently located not far from the college. When looking for it we almost pass it up because it comes up so quick when you're driving to find it. Rooms are clean staff was great, only one issue the outside needed some sprucing up. Cigarette butts in the entrance way smelled like smoke from people smoking outside. The breakfast in the morning was wonderful well-stocked and the woman working it was very courteous it was delicious. Had a pool and hot tub which I did not use but my sister dead and said it was nice. We would stay here again.

To Stacey, Bailey, Alex, and Jeff who is gone. You are the Greatest . You all made our stay there very Comfortable, and best of all each of you always had a smile and personality that would want guess to stay there. The rooms was very clean, you all always made sure the hall's and the launary room stayed clean. I will recommend all who are looking for a stay while traveling to your Candlewood SUITES, Browndeer, Wis.

This is one of the best Candlewood Suites locations I have ever stayed at. Ultra clean. Very well maintained. The suites were meticulously spotless. The building was totally well maintained. The staff was incredible. Jeff and Stacy were awesome. If I ever get a chance to revisit Germantown Wisconsin I will definitely stay at this location again! Job well done!
