Great hotel, the room was huge two double beds, giant shower, but chique / shabby
repairs had been done in a half assed way a wall between the bathroom/shower had been repaired, but the paint job was probably done before they went home for the weekend.
There are no extraction fans in the shower, so mustiness and mildew are always going to be a problem ...turn the shower on a few minutes before you want to use it and it helps
The food was excellent, great choice for breakfast, including cereals,fruit, Eastern or Western
Dinner at night was also very good with a great choice of food
There is a small bar area (never manned, yo have to look for someone to serve you) they serve local beer at a reasonable rate, they also do snacks and coffee.
Don't pinch the slippers or towels, they will add it to your bill, and its in Chinese
Every thing is itemized with a price in the folder in the room
English is hit or miss, put an app on your phone
No smog or fog, weather was great...very hot and humid
I would use the hotel again, if I go back

We stayed there for a night during our business trip. We arrived hotel around 3 am in the morning but hotel turned off all lights at the lobby. It is quite horrible experience. However, the room itself is quite good and very big. Cleaner than what I thought. Service is so-so, chinese standard. Breakfast is just ok with variety.

This was my first trip into Cangzhou city which is a industrial city. Unfortunately, it did really matter about how nice the hotel was because everything smelled, tasted and felt like you were in the inside of a 1972 Diesel truck exhaust. The service was good and the people were polite and tried hard to understand English. You have to remember, not to many foreigners. The breakfast is not suited to North American pallets , the coffee is horrible but the fruit was fresh. However, the entire city is cloaked in a heavy industrial yellow haze of chemical, coal dust and automobile exhaust that chokes the living Jesus out of you. Also, when travelling my car, make sure you have life insurance because it is China version of Nascar. There are no rules to driving. People cut others off by turning against traffic. They pass on all sides and the horn is the common tool for communication. It is mayhem!!! Do not drive in this city. Make sure to hire a driver and good luck. When booking a train from Beijing or a return trip make sure to book well ahead of time. You cannot book same day. Also, have a english translator or your will be screwed . You will need your passport for almost everything. The good news is if you like real chinese food you will not be disappointed. The food is very fresh and good.

Very nice hotel, excellent service with very good breakfast. The rooms are comfortably with enough space. They are clean, very carefully decorated and with Wi-Fi available in all the places of the hotel. I would go there any time again.
It will be my first choice.

We stayed here for one night as we were in the area on business.
Check in: This was actually pretty smooth and the girl behind the desk spoke good English.
Rooms: Are large but dated. Various cigarette burns in the carpet but the beds are comfy, if a little hard. Wifi is ok in the public areas but poor in the rooms.
Dinner: We opted to eat in the hot-pot restaurant and this was really nice. We checked out the buffet first but everything looked dry and cold. Hot-pot for two with meat, fish, noodles and beer came to 180RMB.
