I stayed for four days at Hotel Capracotta. The Staff is very nice and friendly. The food at the restaurant was very good and gave me vegetarian options that are traditional Italian food. If you're a hiker there are some amazing hiking trails and a beautiful view from every point from the hotel. When I come back to Italy, I definitely will be staying at Hotel Capracotta.

Our extended family of seven, including ten year old Quinn, stayed here two nights in July 2015 because it was the closest accommodation my wife Elizabeth could get to her ancestral home in Pescopennataro. It is a three or even two ranking, and we would not normally stay here. However, it gets a ranking of four if you have to to stay in Capracotta. It is a small hotel with a not inexpensive restaurant on the ground floor, where they serve the complementary breakfast. The air is clean and the views are lovely. Capracotta is famous for its snow and the place most be jammed with skiers, if the roads are cleared enough to get there. If you are going to Caprocotta this is the place to stay. We were happy it was there.
