I went to Carols last May 2017, the weather was alil bit chilly at night and water too .. but the sand and beach were amazingggg! , food is very good there with lots of varieties.
Checking in was a bit slow but all in all it was good, I recommend it👍🏻

We stayed at this resort for 5 days, the resort has a private beach, so only guests access this beautiful paradise on earth. The resort itself is very clean, the grounds a very well kept, the staff were excellent. However, although there was a big variety of food, the quality was below average. At times food was from the day before. We were very surprised for a 5 star hotel to have such below average dining. Also, the hotel didn't allow for any guests to have visitors, the only place they permitted was in the lobby & not inside the resort. Also, the resort is located about 17km from town centre, so if you are thinking of venturing outside, goodluck finding a taxi.

No other word can express this hotel from customer service,front desk,pool and beach area,food and beverage to its astounding position.Wonderful location ,one of the best beaches in world.
* The staff is very polite,helpful and friendly.
* The room is spacious,comfortable and well furnished.
* The balcone is big and the view is astounding.
* Extraordinary clean and relaxing sandy beach
* Well maintained greeney and landscape
* Extraordinary food quality and variety
All must visit the hotel with very good amenities and friendly staff. Good for relaxing.

Very relaxing hotel the room was very spacious with a large bathroom also the staff were very accommodating to our various requests. The food in Octopus and Arabesque restaurants were excellent also the breakfast buffet had lots of variety. We also tried the spa and it was a wonderful experience.
And finally the white sandy beach and turquoise water is a WOW!

The rooms is very well designed and decorated, even it's not clearly can see the sea that we paid for as it's obstructed by the palm trees however the fresh air and atmospheric were fantastic,
Many thanks to Mr. Safwat- GM for his always presence to make sure hotel guests are satisfied,
As well a big thank you to the Executive Chef and the wonderful varieties that are providing in the Veranda restaurant to make gives you the feeling of the place as everything prepared and cooked freshly with amazing taste.
The most memorable thing was watching the Egyptian National Team match that qualified Egypt to the FIFA World Cup.
🙁The rate as end of season was still a bit high
🙁No shuttle bus to bus station or to the city
🙁In door swimming pool is under maintenance
Expecting better smile from the staff in my next visit
