I was in a WW2 tour with Ledger.Good location,not in central Caen,quiet and well kept hotel.Room was very clean,comfortable and good temperature.T.V and tea/coffee maker.Clean bathroom.Good buffet breakfast.

A brilliant located hotel in Caen, located near the university. Only 8 miles from ferry. This hotel has free parking, code to access car park is obtainable once checked in, but probably better if given when booking is confirmed.
Check in was straight forward and made easy by a mature woman member of staff.
Our room was comfortable and clean, floors are serviced by a lift or stairs.
The hotel in general was clean.
There is a brasserie and bar in the hotel, so not far to go for an evening meal. Even though the young staff that were working on reception, bar and brasserie were not very professional. Receptionist/barmaid was more interested in keeping her boyfriend amused and what seemed like regulars to the establishment.
The waitress was much the same, service seemed to be a bit of a chore. It felt like we were putting her out because we wanted to eat in the brasserie.
We could of quite easily have gone to the Buffalo grill next door, and had better service.
These two definitely need more training.
Breakfast was plentiful and fresh.
A lovely hotel not far from supermarkets, restaurants and other local amenities, just spoilt by unprofessional members of staff. I have stayed in and revued many hotels and have found that French staff are usually very professional.

I stayed at the Hotel as part of a Normandy Battlefield Tourwith Ledger Holidays. The room had all you wanted for a short stay. The food was excellent. I paid 17 Euro for a buffet starter and sweet. There are 3 mains choices to choose from. The meals were excellent
for the price and everything was freshly made. The staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The bar stayed open until the last person left. Breakfast was continental buffet, with. plenty of choices. I was a bit apprehensive after reading previous bad reviews. Everyone has different opinions. It’s only at 2* hotel but it catered for all tastes.

I stayed in this hotel when I was in the Caen area on business in March and I have to say that it is one of the best hotels that I have stayed in.
The location of this hotel was ideal for me as it was very close to the motorway network and I had various locations to visit around the area but it is also ideal for the city as the tram runs straight passed and is cheap enough to use.
The staff at this hotel are what make this hotel. It is a decent sized hotel but it still retains its feeling of a family run place. Nothing was too much of a problem for them from the day that I checked in to the day that I checked out.
The rooms at this hotel are a decent size and are very comfortable, clean and extremely well maintained. I had four very good nights sleep at this hotel.
The food at this hotel is incredibly delicious and plentiful. I had four evening meals at this hotel and I was very full afterwards. I definitely wasn't looking for a takeaway afterwards.
In Conclusion, this hotel is one of the best around.

Whilst on a Leger D-Day landing tour I stayed for 4 nights. It was clean,Only had continental breakfast there. Shower cubicles were a bit small. Staff were very friendly and I would definitely stay there again.
