What you lose in mod cons you definitely gain in friendliness, helpfulness, free loan of bikes and walking poles (really useful if you want to walk the lovely local trails), wifi, and the wonderful breakfasts with fresh fruit salad and homemade cake (amongst other goodies) every day. The other guests were also pleasant and undemanding, which I suspect this kind of place attracts. We were glad of google maps to guide us there on arrival, as the turning is easy to miss and Brenzone really refers to the general area rather than the place, which is Assenza. The view of the lake is a bit obscured by the hotel in front, but it does at least cut the noise from the road down to a minimum.

Stayed here for a night on the way from Italy to Germany. We enjoyed everything: the rooms, the view, the balconies. Comfortable, clean, safe parking under olive trees. Nice breakfast. The only caution: the floor in the shower is extremely slippery. Lake Garda is beautiful. It was cloudy and started to rain in the evening, the tops of the mountains were covered with clouds, so we skipped the cable car to Monte Baldo. Instead, we drove to the intermediate station of cable car which was still below the clouds and had a beautiful view from there. The weather improved next morning and we stopped at waterfall near Riva del Garda, very nice.

You get a small comfortable room with balcony, bathroom, communal fridge, free bike rental, plenty of parking, really friendly and helpful owners. When you cross the road you're already at the lake. From there it's just a good walk or short bike ride to one of many good restaurants.

Wonderfull Hotel. Very kind and helpfull people. Good for swimming, Hiking, Operaturs to Verona, Cultural experience. Very good and clean rooms with balcony to the Lake..Super breakfast with homede cake every morning...Very clean. Handpaintet rooms. Heartfull atmosphere. Thanks for advices and super service to Luigi and his Brother Andreas + theor mother on 80 still going strong. Very clean free beach 1 minute away.

Excellent service in a beautiful setting, the family are always very nice to the guests. Nice and tidy rooms, plenty of magazines. Internet was a bit slow initially but you can use both upstairs and downstairs hotspots. Supermarket almost next door, nice café overlooking the lake nearby. Make sure you get the directions properly, as it's not exactly in Brenzone but in a nearby vilage.
