This hotel is in the heart of the city attractions and about a 10 minute cab drive to Alhambra for about 8 Euros. This hotel has limited on site staff time so make sure you coordinate your arrival time. There is no on site parking and you will have to either find a parking garage about 10 minute walk away or street parking which is very limited. We had to navigate the very narrow streets full of people to drop our luggage off before my husband went to find parking about 10 minutes away. You will have to haul your luggage up 2 small flights of stairs. This hotel offers breakfast for 8 euros but we did not order it so cannot rate it. Our room had a beautiful view of the Alhambra (make sure you get tickets online way in advance). The room is small and has all your need except a safe so you will have to get creative on how to protect valuables. The restroom is a good size with good water pressure. The room temperature is fine and although I loved this charming place my complaints are with the hard bed and how the noise carries throughout the home since we are light sleepers. This being said we would stay here again because the central location.

after locating the shiny wooden door and pulling the bell rope I was greeted by a lovely friendly girl. the inside was a big wow! when taken up to my room I could not believe the size and décor, all antiques with polished floors and steps up to a big bed. opening out to the large roof terrace with the most amazing Alhambra views. Can not find fault with the casa or the staff and location but maybe a mini bar so you don't need to always go out for a drink would be icing on the cake

Staying at the Carmen del Cobertizo was pure joy. We could not have imagined what a lovely hotel this would be. Perhaps, first and foremost, because it felt like a privilege to stay in the home of such a refined and elegant Spanish family. Our compliments to the host and staff.

Our 2 night stay was perfect, it is a lovely place not like a hotel more like a grand Spanish home with a nice garden to enjoy breakfast in, lovely ensuite bedrooms and very well run by the friendly family. We would love to stay here again and would not hesitate to recommend Carmen del Cobertizo.

Highly reccomend staying at this beautiful Carmen. Immediately felt comfortable, like beingn home. Front of house staff were excellent and provided great advice about activities and places to eat and were very happy to take the time to do this. Presentation of the house was beautiful. Excellent location near Alhambra and Hammam.
