Stayed 1 night with my mam, lovely room and private bathroom just across the landing for our sole use. Lynda is excellent host and very knowledgeable about the area. Will definitely be stopping again sometime next year with my husband.

A really clean, tidy but homely room , with a fantastically helpful landlady in Linda . She gave me lots of idea's of the best places to go and what to see . The Boat trips to see the seals and the Longstone lighthouse the picks as well as a tour around Dryburgh , Melrose and Jedburgh abbeys , a great 6 day break.

Welcoming from the moment we walked through the door. The room was spacious, clean and warm with a sofa and modern tv. Tea/coffee making facilities with fresh milk brought from the kitchen as we settled in. Linda gave lots of information about dog friendly restaurants and pubs. The beach was a minutes walk away, you could hear the sea and smell the clean air as you opened the front door...a wonderful walk right around the bay....Berwick a bracing walk across the 'old bridge' for lots of restaurants. Wonderful nights sleep in a very comfortable bed with a large, tasty, freshly made breakfast served in the conservatory....our retired guide dog got his own sausage! Bathroom isnt ensuite (which we were aware of before we booked) but is private, plenty of hot water, soft, large bath towels...plus shower gel and shampoo if needed. Would book again tomorrow. I stayed here for 3 nights with my Mum , this is a perfect location as the beach is just across the road , ideal to pop into Berwick and visit various places around .
The room is very spacious , the private bathroom was just outside which wasn't a problem .
The breakfast is lovely which is served in the conservatory overlooking the garden .
Linda is an amazing host would definitely recommend this place and hopefully will return in the near future .

Lovely lady, Lynda. Very knowledgeable about the area. Food all locally sourced. Breakfast in the conservatory overlooking the most beautiful garden. Met a beautiful cat (Burmese). Parking right outside the House. Our car broke down. It felt like the whole of Spittal was on a mission to help us!
