Absolutely ok
Andrea Mon 17/09/2017 04:25We just stayed one night here, after the airrace in Reno, but there was nothing wrong with this accomodation. First impression, it's an older hotel but check-in was done pretty quickly, room was clean, bed and pillows were comfortable, shower had nice pressure and lovely hot water, TV was working perfectly, they even had some couple of movie channels like TCM and the wifi was working ok. I seldom slept in such a quiet hotel. Even this place is located at the Main Street, it was so quiet, I slept through like a baby, furthermore there is a sign in elevator to remind their guests to be quiet in corridors after 10pm, which I really appreciated. Breakfast is the common budget accomodation stuff, cereals, yoghurt, English muffins, boiled eggs, coffee, juice. But I didn't need more and for this price you can't complain. I would stay here anytime again!
Nice for short stay
click non 14/09/2017 20:16Stayed here for 2 nights during visit to Tahoe. Our stay was peaceful with clean room. Rooms are spacious. Breakfast was good. Building is bit old, but overall quality is good. Hotel could be very busy due to tour groups.
OK for 1 night
Hockeysharkyon 29/08/2017 04:03I was not so impressed with this hotel. Our main reason was to visit the Capitol. This hotel is not far away and the price was OK. Room was clean and breakfast was fine. There are only 2 restaurant close by.
Not as presented online
Linda Mon 13/08/2017 07:41Room was very, very old. Smelled from years of smoking. Beds were no better than hammocks although web site says pillow top mattresses. NOT. Room had multiple cigarette burns on carpeting and furniture. When I complained to front desk staff I was informed that facility was non-smoking! Bull. Thank goodness we only had to stay one night as we arrived to late to find something else for evening. One funny thing. Lamp shade was removed to accommodate newer bulb. Shade was then just hung in space over side of lamp and no cover over bulb. No pride of ownership.
Nice Hotel
Mimi48NewJerseyon 12/08/2017 02:10The hotel is nice and clean but the check-in is lengthy. From ID to license plate to address to signatures for every item that you can be charged for; I hope you won't need two rooms like I did because you have to repeat the same information twice!
