Best little secret!

We were trying to find a place for the weekend near Ole Miss. We were going to Family Weekend at Ole Miss and do some tailgating, before the football game. We tried to find vacancies in Oxford and Batesville, and there were none. So, we decided to look more south from Oxford and the Cart Barn Inn came up when we were searching. We were happy with the reviews and it was 25 min from Oxford; perfect. We booked the last room. It was the best decision.
The place is yes, like a pole barn, but inside it is very inviting and cozy. The eating area gives you a warm fussy feeling with help yourself coffee, tea, snacks. This area is where you get the best breakfast in the morning. Kay, the owner it up bright early making sure her guests get off to the right start in the morning, baking her yummy homemade casseroles, french toast, etc. It is like visiting grandma's. Kay is such a sweetie and we just loved talking with her.
There are 10 rooms inside the building. There is a long hallway, just like a hotel hall, the rooms are all along the hall. The rooms are very large with their own bathroom. The place is clean and manicured. There is a large covered patio and gazebo, that is great to sit outside and enjoy the country view. We raved about this place to everyone we talked with tailgating. We will definitely be staying again. Home sweet home!

One-of-a-kind Charm and Hospitality

Cart Barn Inn offers an excellent B&B experience with a more private feel than the traditional B&B. Sleeping rooms are large and well appointed. Above average marks on cleanliness, and beds are extremely comfortable! The eating area is cozy and the quality of the breakfast is far better than anything you find at a "box" hotel. Cart Barn Inn is located far enough from major arteries and towns/cities to give a quiet, relaxing retreat yet close enough that even the most activity driven individuals can be in the thick of it all with just a short drive. Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy this special place...it is truly one-of-a-kind!
A Cozy Small Town Retreat Worth Your Visit

What a delightful and enjoyable retreat in the country side! The Cart Barn Inn is a rare "jewel" in the middle of a quaint small Mississippi town. Cozy and inviting setting to enjoy some peace and quiet. Yet, you are only 30 minutes away from the vibrant college town of Oxford, Mississippi which is home to the Ole Miss Rebels. Food was fantastic! Wonderful coffee with homemade blueberry muffins and warm sausage croissaints. For your added convenience, there are microwaves and small refrigerators in your room! Rooms are spacious and "noise proof" despite a full house. The back porch is an idyllic place to read a good book while in soaking in the beautiful countryside. Despite being in the country, you will have great access to wifi so you can stay connected and even do a little work if necessary on your retreat. You can also enjoy a host of movies and TV shows on a multitude of cable channels. I can't wait to come back! I've stayed several times before and will definitely be back. The Cart Barn Inn is a one of a kind, must-see bed & breakfast. You don't want to miss an opportunity to stay here!!!!!
