The location overlooks the river, beautiful view. The air smells wonderful. The hotel is made up of three houses with a living area and patio for your use. Breakfast includes local cuisine, an omelet bar and fresh fruits and juices. The facilities are clean and the staff friendly. I recommend star gazing at night, the consolations are different on this side of the equator. Very near the Itaipu Falls, which are absolutely breathtaking.

Nice place, nice location. But we arrived too late to enjoy it.......25 years too late. This place would of been great back then but today it's sadly neglected.
The bedroom was nice in a quaint kind of way. The swimming pool area and restaurant needs some real attention. It had just reopened the day we arrived and had one dish on the menu.
Comfortable enough hotel but it has real potential. Nice friendly people. Unlikely to return.

The idea was to go to a hotel with a nice rooms and view of the Parana River. We got a little bit of the second one. The hotel rooms were little and the whole hotel ready for a good renovation. Food at the restaurant was horrible.
The only good aspect of our visit is that people that work at the hotel were very nice and friendly. We paid too much for what we got. I will not recomend to anyone this hotel nor I will go again ever.

This hotel has potential to be a great hotel because its big and it gives me the impression it once was a very nice place but time has done disasters with it. The administration must be very bad as it all looks old broken and dirty. It has a beautifull view to the river and a nice deck to sit outside plus a nice swimming pool. The cook is a lovely lady who does what she can to help thou the rest of the staff doesnt care at all for you. We order dinner from the menu we had in our room they just deided to give us something else as they had a different menu. No restaurant on sundays night. When we arrived the bathroom was very dirty, like grose dirty. the pillows were dirty, the decoration is tacky, I wont come back to this hotel for sure

This is probably one of the nicest hotels in ciudad del este. It is a good place to hang out. But It is far from just about everywhere and the only way to get to the hotel is by a cab ride (which adds up). The restaurant neither offers many dinner options nor does it have a selection of wines; and considering that the food is not extraordinary, it is expensive. It is best to explore other options. However, the breakfast is excellent and the service is quite nice.
