This place is wonderful, the service was great, breakfast normal nothing outstanding. King bed and AC and TV. The location is surrounded by nature and almost not too much neighbors near in the area. The only bad thing is the estuary since there are a lot of bugs but anyways its a good place to stay and pretty recommended.
P.D.: Be careful with the iguana while taking breakfast, already used to be near humans.

Stayed many times over the years and watched it go from as good as it gets to exactly what it now is (understaffed, underfunded, maintenance issues, waiting for a buyer). It could be great again, but its formula relied on business travelers coming to the working ranch where it is situated. And that's over. Without that draw, it just cant do enough business to sustain its price point.

This a unbelievable view when de the rio jabillo goes into the sea, even better by sunset.
The rooms are nice and clean all you need on such a remote place.
The restaurant which served only breakfast is average, the people running the place are very friendly but the speak 0 English.
Nice beaches around, very remote especially playa San Miguel with the turtle hatchery is a nice experiance.
The road can be a problem depends of the time of the year, we had to pass some serious "rios".
Overall I would recommend this place only to someone who looks for an outdoor adventure a like remote beaches/places

Didn't stay there but visited daily for great views, horseback riding, and drinks. Super friendly and accommodating. Look forward to going back. Took a tour and rooms are very nice. Friends stayed there in the past and loved it. Great location and park beach close by.

Everything was terrible, except view.
This was the worst hotel in our 10 day trip in Costa rica. Definately overrated and overpriced!!
The rooms was almost good, except a lot of insects in room. The towels were very old, with holes. The shampoo dispenser was empty or broken.
The staff do not speak any word in english as it was written in the hotel description. He tried to use google translate but most of the time he was watching tv, some horrible movies very loud. He was not interested in guests.
When we arrived he did not say anything to us, just took money and gave keys from the room. Worst staff ever seen in a hotel industry!!!
Hotel has a pool, but you have to pay additionaly if you want to use it.
Hotel is in the middle of nowhere and you have to drive 40km on dirty unpaved road to reach this horrable place.
From the hotel you can see beautiful ocean view, but you can not reach it.
We had a reservation for 2 nights, but stayed only one. Not worth to say, we needed to pay for both nights!!
Never suggest anyone this hotel, there are better options in Costa rica.
