We had reservations at another Hotel but for whatever reason they had no vacancy, so, they arranged accommodations here and paid for the taxi. The rooms were spacious and very well equipped. The hotel where we were originally booked was on the outer edge of Santa Fe but Trigo was right in the middle convenient to restaurants, old town, city gates, etc. We learned thatSanta Fe was a quaint, OLD town (established in 1492!).
This was a nice hotel and we all would stay there again.

I was placed in a room on the second floor, the first floor being reception. The main staircase leads up from the centre of reception and then literally onto a corridor on the floor above with the entrance each room. I could hear everything from my room. Phones ringing from reception, doors slamming from reception area and the restaurant. I was really disappointed with the way the reception staff handled noise.
I woke up at 6:30 on my last morning by guests talking loudly and having a conversation down in reception. The person on the front desk should have monitored the noise and told them to be a lot quieter at that time in the morning.
Also the wifi kept dropping out in my room and I was only one floor above reception and there really is no excuse for this these days.
Apart from this the hotel is fine and there are no other problems but I will never stay here again as sleep is very important to me as I am paying to relax and feel comfortable in my bedroom.

Hotel is located close to airport ans only 30 minutes from Granada.
Rooms are clean and good.
Staff is friendly and nice.
There is Wi-fi also but it could be better. I got room where it id not working.
Breakfest is acceptable but could be more choice.

Upon arrival front desk guy was extremely rude. Upon leaving, we asked if he ( the same guy as the night previous) could call a taxi for us. He said yes with a smile but then did not call the taxi. After waiting outside a while, we returned to ask him if he had called. He said "well I need to know which Taxi company you want me to call". Being foreign travelers we don't know the taxi companies! Another negative was the bathroom had dirty spots on the floor and hairs. One of the night lights was not functional. Noise of voices from the restaurant was moderately loud, but the restaurant was quite good. The reason I picked this place was because it was close to the airport and we arrived late, but if I had to do it again I would taxi the extra way into Granada and stay at a more charming place.

This hotel has a terrific potential. Best location in Santa Fe, right by the bus stop that will take you to Granada in 15 minutes, charming rooms... However, rooms without a view, uninspiring breakfast facilities (and food!) and unhelpful personnel ruin the picture. Just to give you an idea, the staff encouraged us to fill in the complaint forms so they could get paid their salaries. I hope they get back on track with new management!
