Hotel is installed in a classic Spanish stile house at the heart of the bealtiful world heritage town of Campeche. Installations are great and the staff very friendly. Room is very comfortable and the restaurant is excellent.

We just returned from the most amazing stay at Casa Don Gustavo. I splurged on one of the master suites because it had a balcony and it was so worth it. We had not realized that Hanal Pixan (Mayan Day of the Dead) festivities would be going on and that it would be going on right outside our door below. What a great vantage point to see all the sights!!! We were a bit nervous that it would be too noisy right in the center of it all, but once we closed the doors, we never heard a sound. I ended up with a bad case of food poisoning from another restaurant in the city, so the hotel ended up being a refuge for me. Slept and rested great.
The room was just beautiful! I had originally booked for one night, but after we saw the room, we decided to stay 2 instead. We ate breakfast at the hotel both mornings and they were very accommodating to me and my stomach situation. Service was friendly and efficient. The property itself is beautiful. They have a small pool, but that is where I spent part of my recovery, resting in the quiet. And their showers are fantastic!
Overall, an amazing stay at Casa Don Gustavo. Highly recommend it! Top marks in my book!!!

Amazing hotel, extremely friendly staff. Beautiful spacious room and bathroom. The only downside (not their fault) is their street is now sealed off to locate resturant tables for many enterprises, which makes locating it by car a challenge . However, once you arrive the have an excellent valet parking service. A wonderful place to stay.

Beautiful hotel, great service and amazing breakfast. Wonderful location in this beautiful city. Our room was beautiful and elegant. We rested in the two hammocks and read in the hottest part of the day. It was lovely.

Our first time in Campeche we spent a lot of time wandering in Centro. There are all sorts of restaurants most of them o.k. We decided to try Don Gustavo for dinner and were we surprised. The old building has been fixed up beautifully and the service was perfect. The room we sat in was small and air conditioned. The food was superb and presented nicely. This place is a real gem. We don't know anything about the hotel itself but if it is anything like the restaurant we will be staying there.
