Casa Lloret is an exquisite hostal with a homely feel. It is in a nice quiet neighborhood and the hostal itself is behind a secure gate with private parking available.
The rooms are very spacious and clean with access to a luxurious living room with books and a comfortable seating area. Breakfast is a 5 star class experience :)! The staff is very friendly and helpful with any kind of information about tourist places, culture, food recommendations etc.
Definitely a high class experience but on a budget price. I would without a doubt stay here again and would recommend it to anyone :)!

Our family of 9 enjoy our 2 nights in Casa Lloret, comfortable beds, quiet rooms, clean towels everyday, and good shower. 10 minutes driving to downtown Cuenca. We enjoy meeting Gustavo the manager he was very helpful

Our family of 5 had a terrific visit at Casa Lloret for 5 nights in July, 2015. We enjoyed the large family room, quiet setting and the proximity to downtown Cuenca - an inexpensive cab ride. There is a small grocery store nearby for snacks. Most of all, we enjoyed meeting Gustavo, the lovely manager! He served us excellent breakfasts, helped orient us, called cabs, and was quick to greet us and help us throughout our stay. I would highly recommend Casa Lloret!

Ideal base for our family of five visiting daughter who is spending year near Cuenca. Delicious cooked breakfast with granola or tropical fruit alternating. Spotless, comfortable beds, good shower, and mini-balcony. Nearby river path for jogging, long walks, and people watching plus an outdoor gym. Walked 25 minutes to old city multiple times, including at night. Little tricky to find first time as hotel is part of a gated compound very near a convenience store and playground. Brothers and sister owners speak English and are very helpful arranging rides and facilitating sight-seeing. Nearby laundry will wash, dry, and fold an oversized load of laundry for $6.00.

Casa Lloret is a modern, new building with comfortable rooms that all have either vistas of a garden or of other green spaces. It's a gem in a city where it's hard to find a quiet room. Delicious breakfast and friendly help at the desk. It's not in the historic district, but farther out - near a lovely walking path by a river and large eucalyptus trees. There's a minimarket and a pharmacy around the corner. Extremely convenient for a longer-term stay in Cuenca.
