Excellent service but no so boutique

Their service is incredibly helpful; they offer me two rooms to choose, I took room number 8 with green furniture, natural illumination, big bathroom, but is not a boutique hotel. Instead, I would say that is a cozy guest house with excellent location.
Struggled to be nice, way over priced

Location excellent within walking distance to many restaurants , pubs and relatively quick taxi ride to the city centre. Has an interesting common area to this converted old house. All these matter of course however at the top of the list for visitors to this great city is the need to have a reasonable room to come back to and relax and rest to be ready for the next day's activities. This hotel has without a doubt the worst bed I have ever sleep in since summer camp. Major back ache both mornings. Street noise all night and be prepared to wake at 6 am. The shower door was put on backwards requiring one to be drenched reaching around to turn it on. Slow internet. The front door is locked at all times and front desk staff not always quick to respond. Paint peeling all over the ceiling and open wiring in the bathroom . Sadly the hotel has Huge potential with some upgrades . Advertised at $67.00 a night but had to Pay $92.00 USD a night , major ripoff.
good option for the price and area but internet could be slow at times

Stayed here a few days. It is colonia americana an area with restaurants and botique stores. the rooms are modest but the halls are well furnished. It was secure and felt safe in this place and area. the internet was really slow time and I needed it better for my work so that was frustrating. I paid USD140 total for a three night stay so really happy with this place.
Nice, modest

Nice, modest old house converted to hotel. Good location. The furniture is quite old but the atmosphere is quiet and the rooms are clean. A little noise from nearby restaurants early in the morning.Nice personnel.
Don't be fooled by the pictures on the website

I thought I found this great place to stay at, great pictures on the internet. We arrived to the address and and the sign said Casa Madonna, it looked nothing like the pictures on the internet. We try to open the rod iron door and it's locked, in order to get in and out of the hotel, someone has to let you in and out. Our first room upstairs was in the same building as the lobby on the second floor. At first glance all appeared to be fine, well the road noise was so bad we couldn't sleep at all, secondly a group of 10 people arrived around 1:00 a.m. we were woken up again as the noise traveled upstairs since there is zero sound proofing of any kind. We requested another room for the next two nights, this room was much smaller, a very small TV which the remote control did not work, the curtain would not open and the bathroom was quite small, in order to turn the water on you had to reach about three feet so of course you would get showered with cold water and have a wet arm while you wait for the water to get warm. The ceiling had peeling paint from water leaks and the wifi for that part of the hotel did not work. They did include breakfast which we ate only once as it was mediocre at best. As it turns out the pictures that are online are from there previous location. The pictures we saw online were on Kayak or once of it's other sites. I won't ever stay there again! There are certain travel websites that still show pictures of there old location, regardless there current pictures are deceiving.
