They have a new building just a small block from the main one which is steps to the main street of town... the rooms of the new building are very nice! (no phone, no internet) good beds, nice shower, nice heater, and TV.

Pleasant enough place to stay but skip the meals unless you have always wondered what poor people, or prison inmates eat. They offer dinner, bed and breakfast. If you are staying at the sister Mexicana, the same applies. Breakfast, in particular, is horrid.

Especially when you come to Creel from an intense Canyon hiking experience, Casa Margarita's is the place where you get a comfortable hot shower. You are not only in a nicely renovated place, you are right in the center of Creel, where all convenient places are close-by. You do not even need to go out to get breakfast and dinner because it is included in the overnight fee.

The hotel is well located in town. Even though it was Revolution weekend the celebrating could not be heard.It is clean and upgraded. Room small but good for 1` person. As a single person I found it lonely as no staff seemed to be around.They did offer meals at the hostel one night and at the hotel the next night. I went out to dinner with friends so did not try the fare. The bus ride from the train was a pleasant bonus. I would stay there again.

Stayed at Casa Margarita's in October. It is a perfect option for budget travellers, but still clean, nice and very accommodating. It is a great location from the Chepe train station, so you can basically just walk across the street and you're there! Breakfast and dinner were also included in the price. The food was simple, but delicious traditional meals. Definitely would recommend staying here.
