Perfectly relaxing
Debbie Con 18/11/2017 20:23This was a perfect place for our medical vacation. It was quiet and very charming. Emil went above and beyond to make sure my sister and I were looked after between doctor visits. I can’t say enough good about the hospitality. We were in excellent hands and we felt very safe in being there.
I love that this B&B is so close to downtown (walking distance) and many restaurants. Emile has a list of all the great places to eat... after he fills us up with his excellent hot and cold breakfast (yes, you get both every morning!).
I look forward to returning for another stay here soon!
Mucho Gusto!!
Michael Hon 14/11/2017 04:38What a gem!! Accommodations were only exceeded by hospitality of Alix and this home away from home. The relaxing environment and setting were beautiful. The gardens and the pool were an oasis of solitude. The views from the terrace are hard to beat punctuated by the warm muffins and great breakfast!! Highly recomend Casa Tres Leones!!
Relaxing oasis
Augie Aon 05/11/2017 18:56Just returned from a 3 night stay at Casa Tres Leones to check out the Ajijic area as a potential place to retire to in a few years time. Emil was a great host and made sure we were satisfied with the great breakfast he provided daily. The pool and garden are beautiful and quiet. The facility is in great condition and has a great view of Lake Chapala and Ajijic. Emil also gave us great advise on where to go as we researched the area as a potential retirement destination as expats. We anticipate returning in the not too distant future and will stay at Casa Tres Leones again.
Exceeded our expectations
Steve Ron 02/11/2017 05:29We highly recommend lovely Casa Tres Leones. It's among the more magical accommodations we've found while traveling Mexico. The style is traditional Mexican grand hacienda, with impressive, well-kept grounds. Attention to detail is evident everywhere. The owner Emilio is a gracious, attentive host who takes genuine interest in his guests' well-being. We stayed 3 nights in a comfortable lower room off the garden, secluded and serene. If you're visiting Lake Chapala, don't miss it; it's literally a few blocks' walk to central Ajijic and a few more blocks the the lakefront, and an easy drive to any other towns east or west along the coast.
Another stellar stay at casa tres leones
Joyce Ton 20/10/2017 20:57We returned to casa tres leones, Ajijic for a second stay in this oasis. This time we stayed in the Mexican lovers suite. We had a private veranda, spacious room, and a little taste of heaven...
Emil, the owner, was gracious and accommodating. The breakfasts were wonderful and everyone enjoyed the muffins and sweet rolls available throughout the day.
The pool is now solar heated, making it a great place to lay out in the morning and for afternoon swims.
The grounds are incredible, lush and gorgeous. Orange trees full of tasty Oranges were a real treat!
I highly recommend this B&B!
