We missed the 80 degree weather by 1 week this past October. The week prior to us coming down was in the 80's and my girlfriend and husband were in the ocean. Our weekend, we weren't so lucky. Overcast both days and a little misty. The weather though can't influence our review of the campgrounds. From what we saw, it was pretty nice. It had rained earlier so everything was wet and a little muddy. Let me start by saying this was my FIRST experience with our new RV and I have never done this before. We, I, was not prepared for bad weather. I stepped in mud by the electrical hook-up with my suede shoes (I had come right from work on a Friday evening.) I'm thinking maybe by the electrical and sewer hook-ups, there shouldn't be grass and dirt...just my thoughts.
The RV lots are big and we were on the end which was great. Pool was closed but the pool area looked nice. We didn't go down by the water for obvious reasons so I really can't comment on the beach area. Place was clean and everyone seemed very friendly. Front desk people were very nice and helpful. Store had things we needed - again, our fault we were not prepared lol!
I know we were off season, but the shuttle that goes to the boardwalk left EXACTLY on the hour. We saw the van, walked next door to the store and when we came out, it was 2 minutes past 12:00 and the van was gone. So we had to Uber back and forth.
We had a bunch of things go wrong that weekend (think of any of the Vacation movies) and that was us. We would definitely go back and this time be more prepared. See you in 2018! :-)

So with so many up and down reviews was somewhat scared to go.
Overall trip was great and no major issues. Bath houses were very clean, plenty to do for the kids and no rowdy people except maybe for our group.
Event staff could be a bit more friendly and more organized but activities did go off ok.
I can definitely see some issues in the summer with a larger crowd but we’d definitely go back for a Halloween stay again

One of the most beautiful parks I have ever seen. I was there with a large group this week. I was out on the long dock admiring the view and the beautiful American flag. I was taking pictures with my cell phone when I dropped it in the salt water. Phones do not swim lol. The General Manager of the park (Richard) and the Maintenance Manager (Royce) waded in the water searching for my phone and found it!!! The Regional Manager Jackie spent quite a while trying to resuscitate my phone to no avail ;( I just want to thank all of you so much for your above and beyond customer service. I certainly hope Sun Communities see this post . It is people like this that bring a little something special to your visit. Three managers working as a team!!! Thank you all!!!

highlights : beautiful sights and amenities. well kept grounds, very close to ocean city and assateague island , cons:rules need to be enforced better. people riding around in golf carts with there radios blasting, wild drinking partys with the curfew hour not being enforced. a lot of drunks running around, not enough security,any body can drive in, no security gate, very pricey to stay there.

We came in early October on shoulder season. All was great. I would love to see this place in full bloom during peak season. Looks like being on a cruise with an RV. We Sony have these places up north.
