This is a proper medieval castle which has been stunningly converted into a modern beautiful hotel. Situated around 60km from Venice and for those who like to have a glass or two of Prosecco it is just minutes from Valdobbiadene which produces the Superiore DOCG Prosecco which can only be produced in between Valdobbiadene and Conegliano.
The views from the Castle are superb and as you walk around you are just awed by the beauty and tranquility of it all.
The bars and restaurants in the Castle are excellent and you will be astounded by the prices, the staff proud of the Hotels heritage and very knowledgable are all very courteous and polite and always seen with a smile on their faces.
Breakfast was excellent served in the most stunning room off the biggest staircase I have ever seen.
WiFi coverage was brilliant so the pictures you take can be sent immediately to all your friends on WhatsApp making them extremely envious of you.
This was part of our 2017 tour and we drove here and as a result we drove up (and down) the renowned San Boldo pass what an experience. The Castle has its own Chapel and for those wanting to get married it is certainly a place to think about!
Would we go back? We will definitely be back the place is magical!

We stayed one night. It was very nice and nice service staff. Got few restaurants and spa with swimming and swimming pool is extra. The surrounding is amazing and can watch the town from the hill. Very greenery and lots of vineyard around.

This is a very huge and old castle converted to hotel/convention/spa/restaurants. All the facilities are well equipped whilst preserving the ancient atmosphere. Our room key provided access to some restricted areas not open to general public, and although we had a good walk around the castle it wasn’t possible to see the castle in the entirety. It should be noted there are lots of walks and stairs to go anywhere so would not be suitable for those with physical difficulties.
We were pleasantly greeted with a room upgrade upon arrival and all the staffs were very kind and accommodating throughout our stay.
The room being huge with high ceiling, it became a bit cold in the nights, but we were advised that the rooms don’t have heats turned on until mid-October. That being said it would not bring down my 5-star rating.

Wow!!! What can i say this place is amazing and we only touched the surface.
The restaurant is amazing and i should imagine that holding a wedding there would be just a dream.
You get up to this place via a short journey in a cable car.
Once at the top the view is truly amazing and definately will go back sometime.
It was early in Sept and quite a warm night but the food in the restaurant is fantastic and freshly cooked.

We booked here after reading the other reviews. I also brought my parents here for what will probably bet their last holiday away from home add they are getting inn a bit now not so good with mobility.
The reception staff showed us how to access each of the areas using the elevator as my dad has trouble going up the stairs.
Everything I read on here is so true.
We have had the most amazing experience so far and still have another coupe of days here.
We had dinner in the posh restaurant which was reasonably affordable. We had all we could eat and drink for less than 50 euros each.
The waiter was so charming and attentive.
I am lying here in the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in.
Even though we are in the standard double room it is so comfortable.
It is a dream place to stay.
So long as those suits of armour on the stairways don't come to life at knight time!
